Took K for a walk.

Took delivery of the new reclining ... reclusive ... recumbent ... somethiung like that ... anyway

Took delivery of the new exercise bike that her mother bought us as soon as she heard we were doing this whole weight thing with all of you :o

Tonight maybe i'll even put it together. Away from the computers. Not that I think the large spinning magnet could have any effect on the computers, of course not :o

(and, actually, yes I realize that it probably won't as it'll be producing electricity unless i put the bike on a lazy suzan or something :o)

(and yes, i realize that was waaay geek of me :p)

Went to the gym and did light back work (upright and seat rows, lat pulldowns, omething else) and 2 miles on the ellipical.

I like the elliptical. Its easier than treadmills.

Yeah, you don't really have to concentrate on the machine AND the workout. YOu can just focus on your workout... Plus you can read easier. :)

15 minutes on the treadmill, bench press, inclined bench press, dumbell flys, pulldowns (front and reverse), 50 situps. That's my Monday morning workout routine in a nutshell.

Haven't seen a real significant decrease in my weight yet, but I'm definitely noticing more definition, particularly in my shoulders and upper arms.

I didn't do much of anything, activity-wise yesterday, except chase after the kid and dog. I spent most of my time trying to figure things out for today.

Thats exactly right cause frankly, 20+ minutes on any machine is boring if I can't read or watch tv while I am doing it.

Not me, I would rather be on the treadmill anyday! The elliptical is ok, but i have to concentrate on not falling off.

ROFL!

I prefer the eliptical, although had you known before we bought it that you'ld like the treadmill better I'd have gone along with it - esp since the treadmill takes up less space when folded up ...

But anyway I prefer the elliptical in no small part because when I was over 300 lbs, the treadmill was MURDER on my knees whereas the elliptical was gentle on them (no foot impact) and also worked the arms.
