Got home late (traffic) so I didn't run. Logged into WoW and found it was me and Bel playing. Did some more experience grinding in a Grave Yard. Met up with Bel to say hi. Since I had to be at work early today I camped early and went to bed.

Tonight I have to get a run in. I may play afterwards.

Worked... A lil' OT 'cos of the low vis (got down to 2SM with mist). Only had two flights cancelled (luckily, those two were the last flights of the night for those route).

After work, went to the bar to catch the rest of the Bear/Rams game a little after the 3rd... 3 pints of G, K&C and pizza (was hungry). Noisy and smokey (gah, still can smell that). Pretty decent turn out for the friend that's transferring... One nice thing of the apt place she's going to live at... It has a golf course! Good thing she did, was not get the room with the golf course view. :D

Got home a bit after 1am, so needless to say, DNP any games... Just checked emails and news then crashed...

DNP. A friend at work loaned me Lucky Number Slevin. So, instead of playing Cindy and I watched the movie. Good movie. Definitely worth the rental. :D

DNP. Um, did some running last night including some grocery shopping. Afterward, I just sat and stared at Super Collapse for a while, then crashed.

I'm REALLY hoping to play some EQ2 tonight. Really.

picked up some more bits for the plumbing, went home. got the master fixed so it don't leak. the hall bath i couldn't g et the last bit of the old trap out. i think it's what appears to be "solvent weld" ... which I'm thinking means "it's bonded plastic now" ...

went out, got some other bits since I couldn't take that one off. dinner. came home, and i have ALMOST all the bits i need. the flexible trap and the extension work so that the drain comes to where the trap is. now it's just a problem of the two parts i need to connect are both smooth edged and the same size. so tonight i'm going back to see if i can find a hard plastic piece that will funnel, basically. sooo much effort! BLAH!

logged into eq2, but primarily ran around and looked at housing. and realized that at 51, 6p is not going to get me very far in equipment :o

Stayed home, actually. It is rare that I take a sick day, but this cough caused laryngitis so I took that as a sign to get some rest. Slept a lot. Feel mostly better today, although I actually hurt my back coughing. That is how hard I was coughing. I must have been in some weird position during one of my fits.

Put the lights and ornaments on Treezilla last night. I had to use a ladder. Treezilla says if we don't get in the Christmas spirit it will eat my children. It's a tough call...

Played a small bit of Guild Wars to level my hero NPCs a bit, then watched Davinci Code on DVD, not bad. I thought they did a nice job of presenting the "big revelation" of the book in easy to follow terms, though they had to condense it and put it all in one section of the movie for the most part, where it was spread more evenly throughout the book. The bit at the end was interesting, as it seemed like the movie producers were trying to take the edge off the anti-Catholicism slant just a bit.

PVC piping? If so then yes the proper way to install PVC piping is to apply PVC cement to both pieces of PVC and join them together. The cement melts the PVC, and then solidifies the two pieces into a single, solid piece of plastic. The only way to remove bonded PVC is with a PVC cutter (hacksaws work).

There's always, ALWAYS one more piece you need to finish the plumbing project. What you need is a male-to-male PVC connector. Trust me - TAKE a piece of the pipe with you to dbl check the fit when you get there.

Zyzzyva joined a LoW group for a romp through New Tunaria. Due to a variety of reasons, they didn't accomplish everything they had hoped to do. At least two people got page 6 of An Old Memoir (11 pages, dropped in five different zones, are needed to start the Cloak of Flames heritage quest). No one got page 7 (the other page found in New Tunaria).

DNP. Spent the entire day studying w/ the occational break to work.

When Joy came home I made dinner (lau-lau and rice. Mmmmm) and we watched last week's Biggest Loser then went to bed. My copy of Marvel Civil War #5 came in yesterday so I read that. Not bad.

Holy cow! Must be a sign that my comic reading days are coming to a close... I bought CW#5, Astonishing XMen, and some other book like 3 weeks ago, and haven't touched them. Totally forgot, in fact!

Got home late-ish, ate dinner, watched some of the horrible made-for-tv, live-action A Year Without Santa Claus, since the stop-animation version is one of Becky's favorites. We were way way way underwhelmed. So after 15min, Becky fell asleep and I watched a little more of the Rams game (was before and after halftime, so score was 14-13.

Played some FFXII (currently in Lhusu Mines; xp'd only, then saved at mines entrance), then turned Rams game back on. Ouch. Went to bed.

Ash, not reading any of these or any comic currently but am very curious about these. Mind posting spoilers on what is going on in the last three issues of this?

Spent day at home in bed or on couch trying to kick virus. Still running a fever today. Staying home. Don't want to give it to everyone in the office.

Urgh.. going to have to reschedule all my various scheduled yearly dental / doctor appointments I made for this week.

Unfortunatly I can't for these, as they haven't been released yet.

The very short version of issue 1-5 is that during a routine super hero/ super villian fight, the New Warriors have a bad guy accidently blow up by a school and kill a bunch of kids. People have had enough of superheros detroying stuff and iron man agrees, so he sets up a government program where heros are supposed to be registered and work for the government.

Captain america disagrees and it gets split down the middle- hero wise.

Spiderman unmasks himself on national tv and a bunch of other stuff happens, mostly involving the pro-registration heros and the government hunting down the anti-registration ones.

DNP. Came home from work feeling really lousy. Somehow managed to get through the material for Saturday's test, then watched How I Met Your Mother, Two and a Half Men, CSI: Miami, and the Lost Room.

Stayed home sick today.

I vegetated in front of Comedy Central's evening lineup.

Building inspector came by today to check out my new water heater. I fully expect to get a letter in the mail with a list of other things they need me to fix up in a few days.

yeah, I quoted myself.

I will say this- I don't like Spiderman much and in issue #7 he was so cool I wanted to have Spiderman's babies. Or have him lay his eggs in me. or however that works.

Here's what I want to see from #6-7:

(spoilers just in case)

1) the one, true Thor showing up and making Iron Man regret the day he ever tried to clone a god (including putting a serious smackdown on Clor)
2) the return of Hawkeye
3) Daredevil/Iron Fist breaking out the prisoners in 42
4) Cap getting that one moment (like in Infinity Gauntlet #4) where you say to yourself, "wow, so that's why everyone in the Marvel Universe looks up to him"
5) Lasting repercussions beyond the end of #7
6) The big reveal of Loki's being behind the whole thing (I know, wishful thinking)
