Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I'm sure that it helps (at least it's comforting having such a wide support network). Yesterday we had 10 people here at the hospital waiting for news, and we pretty much took over the waiting rooms. If you all are interested, you can still check out Lady Guenter's blog (http://msbloomberg.com/kris) (she really liked when I read the "Lady G" bit to her). She's managed to eat semi-solid food (pudding and mashed potatos) for lunch and is enjoying the percocet.

Please remind her that the most nutritious semi-solid food is icecream.

Glad to hear she's gotten through the most dangerous portion of the ordeal and that her recovery sounds to be well along. Here's hoping things continue as smoothly as possible for both of you.

Sounds like just another meal in the Asharad household!

I'm glad she is doing well G.

She's a smart woman. Had some for dinner.

I haven't spent so much time here in weeks. Mayo has a wireless network available, so I'm sitting in her room and surfing the net. The Internets are amazing. (and so is modern medicine)

If you have to have major brain surgery, I highly recommend the Mayo Clinic.

Awesome news G-man!

You did remember to tell the doc to take out that part of her brain that remembers every little thing you've ever done to tick her off, right?

Nope, but they both enjoyed your comment nevertheless.:D

Lady Guenter was discharged from the hospital Friday evening and they arrived home safely. I still find this amazing (and wonderful) considering she had major surgery on Tuesday.

This is easily the best Christmas gift any of us could have wished for.:goodie!:
