So I'm working at a Health Insurance company, providing pretty much exclusive IT software support and development for a subsidiary company in Utah. We have some fun with our work - a couple of weeks ago, one of them sent me the TPS Report memo (7 of them generated from this website...)
So every week or so they send me a package with a CD in it containing claim files from one of our PBMs. We file the CDs and do nothing else with them. (I hand them over to someone else for filing...) Usually the package is a thin Fed Ex envelope suitable for papers and the like.
Today I got a pacakge in a normal sized FedEx box, which contained a generous box of Almond Brittle which I'll be taking home with me, plus a Christmas card.
So I sent the following email to the sender:
Nicolle,
I received the FedEx package containing the *deleted* CD and passed it on to Dan as usual. FYI if you want you can address them directly to Daniel *deleted* going forward, but I was just wondering if there was some reason the package was so big this time around?

Visit our website at *deleted*Within minutes I got a phone call and the number was from Utah. I surpressed my giggles and answered with my usual greeting:
Chuck: *deleted company name*, Chuck Haeberle speaking.
Nicolle: Hi Chuck, its Nicolle from *company name*
Chuck: Hi Nicolle what can I do for you?
Nicolle: Well I just got your email.
Chuck: Uh huh?
Nicolle: Well, um, that package, it wasn't..
Chuck: *cutting in* oh oh hold on a second Nicolle ok?...
Nicolle: Ok...
Chuck: Scroll down
PS: Just kidding! Thank you all very much for the almond brittle! I?ll be sure to share it around!
ChuckNOBODY saw that in the email! ;) So I told her it was my revenge for the TPS Report Cover Sheets. :) Maybe you had to be there but I just couldn't stop laughing! (And she laughed some too but I think she was just being polite... ;) )
