Ab Initio

Anyone know anything about Ab Initio? I have been approached at work, now that I have been doing QA for our DB group for nearly 4 months, to see if I would be interested in learning Ab Initio and switching to the programming group.

Well judging from the information on their web site, you would either be looking at the next wave of the future, or just another technology gone by the way side. They claim a lot. Whether it really works when you get into the nuts and bolts would be a different story. :D

Still looking at it but I found a page of companys in Chicago alone that are looking for people who know this. So I am guessing it is fairly established... at least in the right circles.
