Well my Gaming PC just took a dirt nap... :floored:
Wont even turn on the Processor fan when the power button is pushed. Tried replacing the PSU had a 430W and replaced with a 550W but has same symtom... Not sure if anything will be able to be saved. (I reletively sure the V-Card will be ok. So i may have an x1600 ATI AGP card i cant use. Due to the whole PCI-E MB conversions)
I May try and build one up tonight or tomorrow but not sure. I am debating on giving Fry's a shot on a Proc/MB combo and seeing what happens. If I dont it may be a few weeks till I am back in a game. The laptop works but I cant really game on it.
Till then ... See ya.

"No boom?" asks Sinclair. "No boom," answers Garibaldi.
"No boom today," Ivanova corrects them. "Boom tomorrow. There's always a boom tomorrow." Sinclair and Garibaldi shake their heads and leave.
"What?" Ivanova asks. "Look, someone's got to keep some damned perspective around here. One of these days... boom!"

Ack!
Did the Motherboard fry? Good luck on resuscitation or rebuild.

Oh... and for the record, I really miss having Fry's nearby. There's no electronics stores in my area. (other than BB or CC, and they don't count)

3G Ram. The new era is upon us. Can I build a 10G system yet?

3G Ram. The new era is upon us. Can I build a 10G system yet?Possbily, but even Vista won't handle it (yet) so it's a waste. :P
I'm hoping that I can convince the tech guys to slip me a new T60 out of the next batch coming through. They're dual core with 4g memory (for upgrading to Vista). Amazing machines. I'm not going to hold my breath, but thankfully, the tech guys are my friends, so hopefully, they'll be able to get me one. ;)
