Worked... Was busy off and on... Will be glad when the holidays are over... So ready for a vacation, not that I know what I want to do yet. (eyes the Emerald Isle)
Played L2, got the lil' assassin from L10 to L16 ... Hope to get her up to L20 by this weekend (do most likely).
Other than that, browsed various forums and news sites...
The poor TV has sooo much dust on it... Same with the entertainment system... /sigh. I don't put it to enough use...

Yesterday was Christmas Eve Trivia Pursuit (okay it wasn't Christmas eve, but that is when we normally have it) at one of atty's friend's house. We played and some of the questions were definitely showing their age since we use the version that came out in 81. We had a bunch of Gerald Ford questions, throughout the game, so I guess it was his memorial question day, after reading the news today.
Hung out after the game and eventually went out to dinner, then headed home around 11:30. Got home shortly after midnight and headed to bed. Busy day hanging out with people, today atty is still working from home so we have some house type stuff to do and such, may play online a bit, but probably not.

After work, Rubi and I assembled the fountains I got for the holidays. They're really neat, one's illuminated one isn't, but they're very pretty and relaxing.
Afterwards, I PLAYED! Logged in Maevis and managed to ding twice in levels and get my first Achievement point. Completed the Rite of Passage quest and got Glide (that is SO fun). Somewhere around 11, I realized what time it was, put a few things up for auction and went to bed.

After work I played some Gears of War. Delta squad are some bada** MF'ers.
Then I ate too much leftovers for dinner while we watched (ironically enough) The Biggest Loser finale.

Worked, worked and worked some more. Ah well... it's the financial year-end for one company, preparing for the Consumer Electronic Show in Jan for the main - where I'll be working it in the day time, attending press events in the evening and writing to the wee hours of the morning for mmorpg.com. Wheeeee! (I'm nuts, oh yes, I am!)But I need the $$... don't we all??
*burbles*
Aaaandd... I'm still trying to kick this #@$!! cough. It's gotten to the irritating part of the healing process where you're not really coughing, but there's this thick gunk that's still there and won't come up, so when you do cough, it's pretty prolonged and usually unproductive. Urgh... I didn't have a good night last night. I really needed a boytoy or two last night to give me some chest PT to shake the ebil out of the bronchii.

Thank God it is finally over.
Our mainframe at work blew up last week. All companies nationwide were down. We attempted to do everything with pencil and paper. Egad! What a freaking mess. Went in to work over the holiday after the system came back up to do inventory.
Christmas was good. The kids had a ball. The grownups are tired. ;)

Last three weeks have been fun but manically busy. I am almost glad to be back at work today - I need the rest!
Wednesday: 10 hour drive back from Disney.
Thursday: Unpacked, did laundry, frantically cleaned and straighted for the company coming.
Friday: Finally got to do some shopping for Christmas  . Did LOTS more laundry. Washed both dogs. Vacuumed and cleaned some more. Jennifer's parents came Friday afternoon despite strong hints that Saturday would really be better.
Saturday: Hung out with parentals-in-law. Snuck out for a bit more shopping. My Dad and Sister showed up in the afternoon.
Sunday: Church then a walk on the beach. 70's and sunny. A truly glorious day! Worked on puzzles, watched movies, ate a magnificent meal and had a great time visiting.
Christmas: Nasty rain all day. Church then lunch then (finally) got to open presents in the afternoon. More movies and puzzling and visiting and an even better meal!
Tuesday: Sister and Dad left. Hit Best Buy to get season 1 of Avatar. Watched PotC 2 and relaxed alot.
Wednesday: In-laws left. Came to work. Waded through 2 weeks of e-mails. WAY too much stuff going on for the last 3 days of the year *sigh*

Finally got back into EQ2 last night after what feels like a few weeks out of the game. Deep's group in Kaladim needed a tank so Nitz headed over there. We died a lot but had a good time fighting around the entrance areas. If we didn't have the chanter in the group, it would have been pretty hopeless. EQ2 players just aren't trained to be hyper-sensitive to the surrounding mobs due to the way 99.9% of dungeons are laid out. Kaladim has mobs piled on each other, though.
We tried the arena ring event, but pulled multiple groups of mobs right off the bat. I would like to try it again with a slightly higher level squad.

Had yesterday off (and today as well). Spent most of the day cleaning up post-Christmas, opening the boxes and assembling the various things my children received from people. Played with the kids and basically hung out. Watched some "Space:Above and Beyond" in the evening. My wife was thrilled with the full-series DVD gift, thanks for the heads up on the awesome deal Sylvene!
Despite having had 5 days off, I've really not been able to play a whole lot, which is kind of a bummer. I managed a few 20 minutes stints of Dungeon Runners and Guild Wars here and there, and I struggled to get Medieval 2 Total War up and running on my PC (yet another not-quite-ready-for-release software title) and then messed with it a bit, but nowhere near the amount of time I thought I'd have. Ah well, it was still an excellent Christmas break!
