Should I worry about picking up the traits from the other newbie areas? I know they stack, but they all seem to stack different traits. Charity in Ered Luin is something else in Bree-land.

Secondly, Do you get upgrades to the class traits later on, or just more slots in which to put them?

And lastly, any recommendations on what I should look for in traits for a lore-master? Will and power regen seem obvious, and maybe range and melee vulnerability to help with the low hp. Other advice?

1. I don't worry about them. Some ppl do. If I'm close to getting one I'll finish it but I don't go out of my way. I *do* try to finish the traits for using my abilities since it gives me something do instead of mindlessly hitting 1, 2, 3, 4.

2. Yes, they upgrade.

3. I'll let others answer, I don't know.

It really depends on your play style. You can use traits that boost your pet damage, staff strike, spell damage, range mitigation, melee mitigation, shadow mitigation, power regen, hp regen, etc. and limited slots to use them in. I swap them out based on how my character is performing, or rather how often my character is dying. ;)

Traits make a difference when you get to about stage 3 and up, IMO. If I notice that a trait that has a stat that works for my class, I'll try to target those deeds/quests.

I collect as many as I can, but then I'm a little OCD when it comes to quests and deeds.

The traits I slot are focused on increasing my morale, defense and DPS, because I'm a main tank, so that's what I need. My class traits are especially helpful as they add to the threat I generate and increase my abilty to start combos (Block & Retaliate), so I will focus on obtaining them when the chance to do so arises.

Kay. That's about what I figured. But you never know when there is a must have trait or thing that isn't immediately obvious. Like ignoring the old EQ suggested prime stats that said Dex was really good for necromancers.
