Seems pretty good: http://dnd4.com/phb#35

It occurs to me that I don't know the details on a lot of the "feats". There probably isn't a 4e list / description yet eh? I know what ONE of mine does... I'm not entirely sure what "Escape Artist" does, though it sounded cool. If it's very situational like "you can wriggle out of ropes/chains more easily" I might wanna change it... heh.

IIRC, yeah. that's basically what it means yeah :oMmmk. I'll look for a replacement asap. :) 'course, half the fun is not knowing what some of your stuff does until you try to use it and hear, "uh... no... that's not how that works..."

Edit: Looks like THIS: http://dnd4.com/phb#35 is the list of 4e basic feats. Given that, I'll have to go with:
- Toughness
and
- Weapon Focus (Dagger)

I'll update my "sheet".

I'll REALLY recommend the Penny Arcade podcasts too (forgot the URL). Lengthy (each of the 5 episodes takes about 30-45 minutes to listen to) but you hear them actually LEARNING the 4e system in an entertaining way that is surprisingly useful.

Speaking of those podcasts, it looks like you now have to have a "D&D Insider" account to listen. And getting account appears to not be straight forward. I'm tempted to just not get episode 7 on.

ETA: Here's the URL if you wanna have at it - http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/drarch/features

So annoying. Talk about ruining what was a good source of traffic to your site.

Yeah, ok, that works.

One thing that got me is that the podcast's feed already lists episodes 7 and 8 but they don't appear to actually be up.

I forget who offered the 4E rules, Noppy or Shiz? Can you email them to me?

I THINK the PHB is 20mb, so it might be painful.

Unless they can zip it up into smaller files or something. I don't think Hotmail or my personal email account would take a file that large, but it would take a 3 MB file seven times. Just a thought.

You have a Gmail acct? It can take it (I know b/c I had noppy send it to mine). And if you don't have a Gmail acct, for god's sake get one.

I got a hotmail account. And I don't need another email account. Please!

That would make 5 email accounts if I got that one too.

No, it would make 1 email account b/c it's all you need. ;)

I can try to send it to your suckmail account if you want. I'm afraid I won't be rarring it up and sending you 7 different emails. Sorry.

BTW, for those that listen to the PA/DnD podcast, it looks like #7 should be up today. :goodie!:

It's up, yay! Update your podcasts or get it here:

http://webcast2.wizards.com/podcasts_dandd/DnD_PA_Episode7.mp3

BTW, if you go here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/drarch/features) and click on the links for the six PA podcasts they have up there, the PA guys drew a couple panels for each episode, and they are great.

That was nice of them to put it up this Friday instead of waiting until next.

I liked the: "Splug... just shakes his head." To be fair, he seemed to be the only effective combat unit on the field at points. :lowrazz:

Let me know how this is, our Tuesday Night DnD group (going on 10 years now) looked at 4e and we all shrugged and walked away (we have ALOT of 3/.5 material). Our initial impression is that some things = good, some = ok and some = crap (example: we don't like the idea of them removing classes and then forcing you to buy the extra books).

If you all did 3/.5 I'd have joined in

I have some likes and dislikes about 4e. But honestly, if you were to offer another NWN campaign again, I'd sign up in an instant.
