Nice! But WTH are you doing using IE?

Nice! But WTH are you doing using IE?Uh, supporting 53% of the browser market? Don't worry, it'll run on FF too. I'm not known to be an envelope-pushing-coder.

I guess I'm just not an entrepreneur. I let those languishing w/ IE dwell in their non-specification conforming hell and just code for FF and Safari.

ETA: Ok, that's not totally true. The web development tools on FF (Firebug, Web Developer XPath Checker, etc.) are so far superior of anything on IE or Safari that, by that virtue alone, FF becomes my default development platform of choice. But I don't go out of my way to fix IE bugs. :lowlol:

Just a tip. In this case, just say "I love you." No matter who you have in your head, your partner will never know. :lowlol: ;)

Shiz, can you basically paint the map like you want using pre-existing tiles then?

Yes. Clicking to the right/left/top/bottom of the map expands it in that direction, so the map can grow as the GM adds to it. I'm working on character placement/status/notes that will pop up when hovered over too. Oh, and the GM just sends you the URL at the bottom, which is a random string stored with the map so each user can see the same map and not snoop on other maps.

Onward and upward... In the process of adding entry/modify screens for PC's and NPC's. (That's a goblin near the two PC's). What isn't shown is that that pop-up is as a result of hovering over the PC with the cursor.

That's sweet, Din. BTW, if you want I'd be more than willing to help. I might not *be* of any help but I'm willing to try.

Din, if you don't mind me asking... what language or tools are you using to make that? It looks really good for something that I assume you're working on in your free time!

Same as SR:
- IIS/ASP/MySQL
- UltraEdit (a text editor)
- Paintshop Pro 7

I'm old-school.

Edit: I stole the sprites from some public domain thingy (I hope) but could make ones at least that good in short time.

I don't know what that means exactly but I was a skeptic until I started programming on a Mac and now, if I have my way, I will never go back to developing on a PC.

It's a reference to an old Dilbert comic where Dogbert is interrogating a Mac user who he has identified because of his trademark beret and "artiste" look.
