Saw this while browsing some other forums...

* Human: Ale/Whiskey, because, while honestly humans are proven to drink just about anything, I can't help but see the humans described in the preview books as raising great fields of barley. I'm also giving wine to eladrin and the heavier stouts to dwarfs, so humans are left with this.
* Dwarf: Stout/Mead, the former just seems like a given considering there are many a "stout" dwarf, the latter (mead = honey wine) because I likes my vikings as dwarves.
* Elf: Gin, because who else would take perfectly good vodka and throw flowers and berries into it?
* Eladrin: Wine (grapes), because if anything about booze is an "arcane art", it's understanding wine and the correct drinking thereof.
* Tiefling: Tequila, because tequila is evil.
* Dragonborn: Wine coolers (wine + fruit juice & sugar), because I can see it being drunk out of a bucket. (Edit: I guess the classier D-borns can drink port)
* Halfling: When I think halfling, for some reason I think rice beers or rice wines. Sake and whatnot.
* Half-elf: Vodka, because their human side provides access to the raw materials (humans grow potatos/grain), while their fey side gives them incentive to put a twist on how you go about using it. Cue the half-elfs as russian comments.

I play a half-elf and I drink vodka, so I decree this to be the one accurate internet dork thing to real thing comparison.

Naw, I submit half-elves are Brandy, because they can't decide if they're wine or a spirit and humans are Vodka, because they go in damn near everything.
