I received this for Christmas. There is a lot of good stuff in it for melee types. I was curious as to if we would be able to use it.

I am going to look for the (legal) pdf.

I've been seeing comments about stuff from "Dragon Issue #364", looks like some wonderfully fun powers, but also perhaps a bit inflated.

I have been reading about the new classes and powers and nothing has jumped out at me as especially over-powered. Bascially, most 1st level at wills do d6 or d8 + stat mod no matter what flavor they have. Encounter powers also seem to be in line.
The question I have is will all these different sub-classes spread out the class specialties too much. For example, the Invoker is a cleric class with a ton of movement powers which are kind of the Warlord's purview in the core books.

The Martial powers stuff doesn't seem over powered to me, just adds a bit of variety and a bunch of paragon paths for each class, some new feats, etc.

Any ranger feats that might appeal to Trask?

Found the PDF of Dragon #364 (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/drtoc/364), mostly because of Wizzie goodness. Attached is an extract of just the new (well, issued back in June) Wizzie powers.
Got a couple that would be quite... useful. I guess this is the point where I ask Sagar if these powers would be considered available to me on the next levels.
Eh? Whaddya say? ;)

Yes on the illusion powers.
Not yet on the Martial stuff. I don't have access to that info yet.
When I get it, you can use it.

WIL attacks are always good to have and we are light on them.

Yes on the illusion powers.
Cool, thank you.
Probably at least two of those I would like to use. How shall I swap stuff out? At will, one more swap this level-up, or...?

As far as I am concerned, you're one time swap-out option is still open - you haven't finished your level 4 adjustments yet.

A'right, will look at those more tonight. PHB pages aren't the best thing for me to have open at work. They don't disguise well as... well, work-like. ;)

Keep in mind that none of those powers are available at the character sheet site yet. Don't know if they ever will be. That shouldn't stop you, though.

I bought this in pdf form for $20 from EN World last night. It is 14MB. I can try and email it to anyone interested as long as my email and yours won't block such a large file. It had a few cool Ranger feats that Trask might use.

How about sending it to Dinbin so he can put it on his ftp server?

I can't accept big attachments (10mb+) but I'll send you the creds to the site, Shiz.

I got the Martial Power handbook yesterday. You are free to use powers from there according to your class and level.
I also go the Adventurer's Vault book. It allows alchemy as a feat (like ritual casting, but the recipes are a lot less expensive.) Alchemy lets you make potions.
If one of you wants to be an alchemist, let me know.
Baladir and Brunhilde are not eligible for this limited time offer due to RP considerations.

Trask is interested but his next feat is a few levels away.
