Seriously, I have been playing Baladir a little loose roleplaying wise. But in this case, he is not going to let the goblin issue go. He wants blood for that boy and his family. If you want more info for the rp side of it, just ask him, but you won't change his mind on this one.

Perhaps it might be worth trying to find out what could happen if you guys kill the goblin. I'm sure, if you explain the situation, someone around might have some insight to offer.

yeah, but if the goblin presents itself under a banner of truce, you can't, in good faith, kill him then either.

it's not like we would be randomly running into it in the forest or at a bar or at Target. As a designated representative of it's people it is presenting itself as an ambassador in good faith. I like killing as much as the next guy (or more, really) but in these very specific circumstances we can't kill the thing unless it breaks the agreement first.

I can't believe I'm making the truth and honor argument!

It's personal.

Seriously, this is way beyond strategic thinking on his part.

Well I missed the identification clause - or just forgot it. Trask wouldn't have told Baladir that this goblin was that specific goblin, just that he met with "a goblin." I don't know if Lycos is willing to let the issue get whitewashed that way and deal with this specific goblin at another time or not.

Hard to stuff the cat back into the sack some times.

Lycos the player is fine with working with the goblins.

However, Baladir's back story is something that I can't overlook. I'll fill it in on the rp side.

Well, I'm assuming that we can't ask the goblin. So who does that leave?
