1) Perception is the most important skill in the game. Always be making Perception checks.
2) In normal situations, you need to roll a 10 or so to hit a non-boss enemy, so expect to miss a fair amount. AC > REF > WIL most of the time. This is compensated for by the fact that most attacks vs AC get to use weapon proficiency (+2 or +3). A pure Stat attack against AC or Fort is going to require a 12 or better.
3) #2 means that buffs/debuffs are quite valuable. Dazed = +2 to hit for everyone. We don't have a rogue so Combat Advantage won't help our damage unless we can use it to make sure the Barbarian lands his blows. Slow is nice but all it does is keep targets at range or keep them from escaping. This will change with classes like Barbarian and Druid that depend on movement to get positioned.
4) Shifting is a move that does not provoke an OA.
5) We have not done any charging in Group 3 because PHB1 at-will melee attacks aren't useable in a charge (+1 to hit, must move at least 2 squares directly towards your target) for the most part. Both the Druids and Barbarians, however, have at-wills that can be used while charging so expect to see Jagged and Rend using Shift+Charge a lot. That +1 to hit is valuable.
6) You can sacrifice your attack to move again in any round. Charge is a way to move AND attack at the same time but it has to be a linear move.
More to come as I think of it. Anyone from Group 3 is free to add their own observations.
