I'm for surprising the lot of them by getting close to several and hitting them with my armor and removing them as potential later threats. Opinions?

IF ES decides we can't discuss this (given the situation, it's what I'd do), then Greebo will use hand subtle, patented Master Douval hand signals the entire party will understand (required credit at school) to cue everyone into advantageous positions to spring the attack.

I intend to separate the mage from the melees, pump him for information in an isolated spot, and finally kill him. This is something I would hope would be part of Master Douven's basic "infiltrating enemies lairs" 101 course...

I am too. I'd *like* to split them up and take out the mage alone. If that fails, I'm thinking we go partway down the hall, dim the lights, and sneak back for a surprise attack from behind.

I don't know if I want to KILL the little bugger. Can we tie him up and gag him? Knock him out? But I suppose he IS a kobold. I guess we SHOULD kill him.

I'm letting him live. I think if we can restore Issitik to power, the kobolds will go back to their quiet existence and there's no need to destroy them. And who knows, if that mage is convinced, and we have to run for some reason, we may just have a room full of kobolds willing to help *us*.

That or we're all, really, royally screwed...

Whatcha think - pretty sure a dragonling isn't gonna fall for a bluff...but do we want to try it or just plan on going in swinging?

And, while we're dealing with the dragonling, would it be worthwhile to try and persuade the kobolds to aid us using what we know now about Issitik?

Keep the rod really dim until we get close, then uncover it and blind them while we attack?

And maybe grumble in draconic?

Do it JUST loud enough to cover sounds of failed stealth :p

Remember to leave room for the "tank" to engage. You might want to delay, but that would be un-barbarian-y of you.

Also, everyone, leave Rend room to shift out of melee please. I cannot shift into an ally-occupied square.

ES - I am assuming those kobolds have an ability that allows them to take two move actions in addition to an attack? Not asking for specifics - just ... want to be sure that's correct...

You're going to incur an opportunity attack from the dragon at I4 if you do this. You ok w/ that?

I'm taking out 2 minions with my armor and I can keep walking up to minions for the rest of the encounter with that armor and they should all die, so focus on the mains.

Agreed. The die once rolled should stay rolled, IMO.

After further reflection, I think we should head back to town and tell the Councildude what we found here. How the kobolds are being ordered by guys from the keep.

Also, get our master to come with us. Besides, the scholar guy might have found something. If nothing else, they might be able to tell us something about the idol.
