Well, I did 40 minutes on the eliptical on Friday!

And on Saturday I went hiking with my ex-SO We did 5 miles of hillside hiking. I hiked and he sprinted up the slopes...what a nut! My shins are feeling the workout...still. We had great weather for it and I look forward to trying it again. I then worked on the garden and the compost pile.

Of course, I did not get back on the machine Sunday or Monday. :(

Not much. Friday, did some extended butterfly wt machines, some leg presses, and ~25+5 on the elliptical. Did tons of walking on Sat during the day while shopping. Did some furniture moving and heavy lifting (with the knees :)) on Sun evening. Midday Sunday was spent sitting and eating at Easter dinner.

Did nothing of note yesterday, except stay up way too late last night, putting me in a notsogood shape for today, especially since I may stay out late tonight. (Seeing a friend for the last time in at least the next three years; she's headed to Germany. Am extremely bummed about it. )

Friday was an early-ish run. I think it was about 6 or 7 miles. Saturday was a rather long drive, so I decided to give the knees and hips a rest. No cruise control and changing traffic can give you kinks. Sunday I managed a 4 mile run. Monday was nothing except coaching swim practice. I was wiped out after that, let me tell you!

Today I got in about 3000 yds of swimming. Tuesdays and Thursdays are swim days.

Friday: Took K for two walks I believe (once to the lake, once to the fields; he gets way more exercise than me when we go to the fields, but at midnight, the lake's "closed" :o)

Saturday: Took K for a walk, cleaned a lot

Sunday: Cleaned some more, took K for a walk, skipped food most of the day (turns out easter buffets aren't that interesting when you can't eat the roast beef, the ham or the turkey, and aren't sure what the dish that turned out to be green bean casserole has in it (still not sure)). Then went to red lobster and ate a huge dinner, oops. Then took K for a walk to the fields again

Monday: Took K for a walk (fields; it was raining); Dr's appt where apparently I've gained 5 lbs back :(

Rode the exercise bicycle for 30 minutes this morning before coming in to work :D !

It's been awhile but I'm trying to get back on track.

Now I just have to keep it up  !

Why does keeping it up seem so hard for some of us? I can do great for a day or a week, but then it just seems to fall to the wayside....... :|
