This particular situations creates a question for me about moves :D
I know I can take my move action either before or after my standard action, but can I split it? ie, move 3, act, move the remaining 3.

not unless you have a power that allows you to do so.

You are correct, sir.

Did he actually attack us? I am not so sure.
*zot*
Hobgoblin: "Hey!? What's the big idea? I was just about to lower the gate..."
Party: "Oh? Uh. Sorry. How about we go back into the woods and come back out again?"
Hobgoblin: "I dunno... That really HURT!"

Does the crit on one attack roll (with Great Cleave) apply max damage to all targets?
Greebo
20th April 2009, 02:05 PM
No a critical hit only critically hits the critter critted by the hitter.

KD2 is going to wish I had blown him off the platform!
Noppy, I don't know if a 12 vs FOR is enough to hit the Wyrmpriest, but if it is then he ain't there for your attack.

I'll wait and see to adjust what I do, depending on the outcome events. If there's only one enemy left on the platform, than I don't think I'll be using Great Cleave :P

Spell AE Z-axis: I agree that a cube should be assume. These are not getting cast at ground level. So a Burst 1 starts 7.5' (center of the center square) off the ground, reaching 15' up.

The thread title "To the Keep!" makes me happy.
It's just so upbeat.

Leaving in about 35 mins to head to an interview. I'll be on GO trains for an hour or so each way so will try and keep up via BB, but man it's clunky. :D
If you need to move for me to keep things going, please do. Roll well though!

Quervo, what is the range of Lightning Lure? Can you pull a kobold into one of the pits?
Greebo

I intend to pop around behind the barricade with armor of agathys looking for minions to kill with one blast of cold.
Shiz

There are no minions.

You know. I just thought of a great ending to this group.
Celine lives and the rest of the group is dead, and she begins to sing "My Heart Will Go On".

Change of action. Spend action point and cast Eldrich blast twice on the paladin.

Rend rolls over and says "Lick my hairy wolf balls, Pelor!"

*holds the album cover out to deflect the damage.*
By the power of the album's sacchrinie sweetness it easily deflects the nasty Eldritch Blasts.

Jagged executes a perfect Recuperating Strike on Dragonshield 2. The strike cuts right through the kobold spraying blood everywhere. I mean...it's everywhere. Gods. The blood doesn't get on Greebo, though, b/c as soon as the kobold's heart stopped beating the warlock gave Jagged a quick salute and teleported away (to I4). But Jagged's not done yet! He licks the blood off his axe blade and rampages all over Dragonshield 3 (15 dmg). Oh the horror!

Thanks - I thought I dodged that flying gore quite nicely.
Oh...you meant for Jagged? Yes, well...that wasn't bad...

I was actually applauding ES's wonderful description! He's like the Shakespeare of mayhem.

Shush! You'll give the DM an ego.
A bigger ego...

Don't judge based on level 1. My cleric in Group 3 was boring until level 3 and at 5 he is lots of fun.
Control powers also take some time to get used to. Lightning Lure is going to be very useful. The rest of us have to learn how to set things up, too.

I am thinking I should have taken the assault build instead of the shielding build...
Greebo
22nd April 2009, 01:17 PM
That shielding build is gonna come in handy when we're in tight corners.

I disagree. Don't think of yourself as dps. You want to cluster the mobs around you and keep them there. Classic MMO tank. Sagar will be at your side. The rest of us will be running around picking off stragglers and buffing/debuffing.
