Personally, I think they will have too many of these eventually. How many races are there now?

8 (PHB) + 6 (PHB2) + 8 (Monster Manual) + 2 (Forgotten Realms) + 4 (various Dragon Mags) + 1 (Manual of the Planes) = 29 races currently.

Well, the way they do races means very little in the grand scheme. They are just flavor. It is getting a bit nuts, though, with barely humanoid races.

Con and Wis are also strange stats. Not sure what class that would be best for.

Are you sure you are not double counting PHB2 and MM races like Shifters and Gnomes?

Yeah. I opened the Character Creator and used that to count all the races.
