Maybe Solak or someone from one of the other games can answer this...
Do I undserstand correctly that Wizards learn 2x the number of dailies/encounters/at-wills/utlilties when they ding but can only "mem" SOME of them at a given time (after rest). Is the limit on simultaneous dailies based on your level? What determines how many of each you can have "memmed" at any given time? I understand that rituals and cantrips are separate.

Daily and Utility Spells: Your spellbook also
holds your daily and utility spells. You begin knowing
two daily spells, one of which you can use on any given
day. Each time you gain a level that lets you select a
daily spell or a utility spell, choose two different daily
spells or utility spells of that level to add to your book.
After an extended rest, you can prepare a number of
daily and utility spells according to what you can cast
per day for your level. You can’t prepare the same spell
twice.
If you replace a spell because of gaining a level or
through retraining, the previous spell vanishes from
your spellbook and is replaced by the new spell.
The number of daily powers you can use determines the number of daily/utility spells you can prepare. Your book has 2x that number in it. No using the same spell twice.

Page 29 of the PHB tells you how many daily and utility powers you can use per day.
So at level 2 you will ahve 2 level 1 dailies in the book and 2 level 2 utilities in the book, but you can only PREPARE 1 daily and 1 utility.

Ah, gotcha. Duh. Makes sense the limit is no different than other classes, the bonus you get is to being able to swap out every day.

Din, Solak has never worked out a way to communicate which Dailies he is prepping each day. You should probably put a default scenario on your character sheet by listing active spells and then spellbook spells. After any extended rest, you can swap Dailies.

I'll do that. Maybe just with a "*" next to memmed ones, or italics or both, or something.

Hey Din, put it on your Standard actions entry... I am going to clean up the thread once we get started...

I hadn't so far. Have recently been working with Sagar on this. He's given me a little different way to manage it, I've been contemplating, and will probably go with it. Then I'll note in char sheet (or somewhere) what is available, by default.

****, I (once so far) allowed Cilene to use two DPs in one fight. I gotta admit that Wizard stuff confuses the **** out of me.

I gotta admit that Wizard stuff confuses the **** out of me.Fighter / Wizard are about as different as two classes can be, that's for sure. It'll be fun to try to wrap my head around it, though. Char detail post certainly has to be more verbose. If you see anything in mine that's out of whack, Quervo, lemme know.

I wish I could take credit for pulling the wool over your eyes, but I missed it too. I glossed over that section when reading because "hey I know how spells work"

That's how I'm feeling going from wizzie to warlord. Though both seem to have an 'assist the party' feel to them.

You can't do that. She needs to sing the song after everyone else dies. :|

Every night in my dreams
I see you, I feel you
That is how I know you go on
Far across the distance
And spaces between us
You have come to show you go on
Near, far, wherever you are
I believe that the heart does go on
Once more you open the door
And you're here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on
Love can touch us one time
And last for a lifetime
And never let go till we're gone
Love was when I loved you
One true time I hold to
In my life we'll always go on
Near, far, wherever you are
I believe that the heart does go on
Once more you open the door
And you're here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on
You're here, there's nothing I fear
And I know that my heart will go on
We'll stay forever this way
You are safe in my heart
And my heart will go on and on

I'd just like to clarify that Cilene Moonshadow was born YEARS before that Dion upstart became famous.
(Which is amazing since I'm only 21 but still, YEARS)
