It's that day again. We on for anything tonight?

I should be around. No graduation or other family activities planned for the weekend, so no last minute abscense hopefully.

On that not, I will be on vacation the 25th, and thus unavailable. We're supposed to return the 1st, so I assume I'll be OK to play the 2nd.

I should be around. Up for another run at the third Slaver's Exile boss? I've got a load of consumables I can burn through - enough powerstones, candy canes and honeycombs to completely erase an entire party's max DP 9 or 10 times, plus an assortment of stat boosters and summoning items.

If nobody's up for it, I'm sure there are a few more reasonably easy dungeons to knock off before we hit the more difficult/lengthy ones.

We were pretty close to finishing that one weren't we? After the undead door there's like one more area that includes the Dryder boss guy? I've got some stat boosting eggs and a couple of cupcakes still. I'd be down for trying him again since we've had a decent break.

Good run last night after my disco false start. :|

I did a little bit of reading about boss #4's dungeon when we were done. It looks smaller than the others, but more densely packed. Also lots of mobs that are immune to burning, including the boss. I hate that. I'll have to rework my build into a hydromancer or geomancer. On the flip side, there likely won't be any need for a second elementalist so I can bring another interrupter, monk, or tank.

We did do pretty well last night after the frustrating deaths in the first key area.

I need to get my dwarf faction up higher. I was using Light of Deldrimor a lot last night as it does armor-ignoring damage to ALL mobs in my immediate radius (which is usually pretty much all of 'em ). At my current faction level (4) it does 65 damage to each mob, but if I can get up to 8 it will do 75. It was working great last night against the undead and even the dorfs, both of whom like to clump up in clusters when they fight. Sounds like it'll work well in the next dungeon too. At only 5 power, it's a cheap way to deal a good amount of instant damage.

I need to get my dwarf faction up higher.

The easiest EOTN faction to farm, but still a grind. I averaged ~2300 points per run (15-30 minutes, depending) through the snowman dungeon in hard mode. The possibility of candy canes at the end is a bonus.

Weren't you saying the snowman dungeon is murder on melee characters?

With the team build I ran, it surely is. "See those 30 angry snowy guys? Please stop them long enough for my quartet of pyromancers to turn them into puddles. Don't worry, I'll rez you when we're done."

I imagine a melee/MM/three monk team could get by pretty well, albeit a fair bit slower.
