I imagine Urvi is waiting to see what happens before posting an action and then changing it.
Given that we know we made a lot of noise, the rats must know we're here, I imagine now that we've seen them they'll show on the initiative order and start mauling me

You are correct about most of that

o.O she's your side of the rats??? I think you may have some explaining to do about THAT remark...
Lucy! you got some splainin' to do!!!
Anyway, I say Jacoby mocks the nearest rat. Or maybe the furthest, if he's the "damsel in distress" kinda bard :o

i did the only thing that would not give the rats 2 OA's against your healer... if they both would have hit we would be sans healer for the fight...

The problem I have is Raj, while powerful, is very limited. He has one non-AE and it's ranged only. The AE's are all close blast - nothing ranged.
It's very hard to get him in a position to actually use his attacks.
This is the second time I've had to pull back 60+ damage vs the mobs and replace it with some little placeholder attack.
Personally, I don't really mind - though IC I have to grumble. I figure it's all in the party learning to use their abilities and work together thing.
As group 3 is starting to learn, when working together, it's often advantageous to delay individual actions to make the group actions more powerful.
This is where the discussion threads can become increasingly valuable :)

Aye, we are learning in G3. Especially remembering that the init order is not fixed, you can delay and move yourself down the list, coming back in wherever.
Regarding IC issues, I am trying to learn (remember, perhaps, from my days before meeting the group) is that often my best contribution is control, not damage (but I like showing off with the AEs).

I loved how you put that rat to sleep and it never woke up the entire fight.

I love that I finally learned the details about the true advantage of having a target go to sleep. +5 to hit ranged, +7 melee. Wow!
And yeah... that was fun.

I tried to build Fia to maximize the amount of debuffing/mezzing at the expense of damage, often. Sleeping, immobilizing, dazing... all can tip the battlefield balance in the party's favour.

I guess it didn't occur to anyone but me that at the start of this round, the gnome pretty much had no chance of escaping, until you gave it a huge opening...
... I'm amazed that you guys gave up that "you shall not pass" line you had blocking the exit.

I went to untie the prisoner, didn't really expect everyone to come with me though.
I figured as a pious man, I would do that.
