Okay, okay, might seem a bit silly, but I've recently gotten into the "casual" games over on Facebook. I thought I might start a thread here so that we might share any tips, tricks or whatever about the games.
Currently, I play:
Farm Town (though that's getting a little tedious)
Farmville
Mafia Wars
Pirates
Restaurant City
YoVille
Along with a few others here and there.
I've actually started a spreadsheet with a lot of info I've collected, and I'll post it here tomorrow when I clean it up.
For Mafia Wars and Pirates, one simple thing is that if you're sent an energy pack, use up your current energy before using it. That gives you that many more missions or quests to complete before you run out.
SO, what games do you play and any tips you've come across?

Farmville
Farkle
Mafia Wars
Those are enough to tie up a good hour to a half hour on Facebook.
Also, in Mafia Wars, make sure you send energy packs back to your friends so they can enjoy an energy boost as well. In that game, mastering a job gives you a profile point. I found that piling on the job points up to about 120 early in the game really helps you level up. Then after that, I have been putting my profile points into defense and offense to fend off the newbs from attacking me.
Oh, and the number of people in your mafia is important in the game. For 20 reward points, the Godfather will give you extra people. This is key when we get to the higher level Boss fights, so save those reward points. They are worth it IMO.
Farkle, simple luck game for the most part.
Farmville, I'm still a newb. I've been doing the usual expand and gather cash tactic.

I'm on YoVille, but as those of you who also play, know, I've only logged in once and have become a coin machine. I'll keep my account active, but really need to opt out of the notifications. :D

Here are the spreadsheets (One in Office 2007 format and one in previous xls format) for the data I've collected so far.
It includes profit ratios for all of the crops (that I've unlocked so far) in Farm Town and Farmville.
For Restaurant City, I have a collection of the quiz question and answers, as well as level information, suggested table/cook/waiter ratio and a place to keep track of the dishes you're levelling. I've seen it suggested to concentrate on one dish in each course until it's at 10, then move on.
I don't have anything in the spreadsheets for YoVille, but I did find on their forums that sending messages to your friends when you visit them gets you the most coins and xp for your visit.

I play mainly:
Fish Wrangler
Vampire Wars (more people + skills > Peons from the "Elders" - I need a bigger clan!)
Mafia Wars (again, I think real people work better than the Soldiers from the Godfather)
The rest, I will play every now and then (Mini-Golf, Mini-bowling, Motorcycle races, Poker, Farkle, Scrabble and such).
Things like African Safari, Sea Garden, etc etc - I get spammed with gifts thus when I find myself with 100+requests, I don't see all the requests. :o One reason why I don't click on those gifts all the time, is that they don't have an option to accept all at once. It's a pain having to go to the request page, click on to accept the gift and rinse/repeat the process. having 80+ of those takes a lot of time.

I'm on YoVille
Update. Much to the chagrin of my YoVille friends, I'm no longer on YoVille. I deleted the app from my FB account. Had no interest in it, and couldn't figure out how to turn off the updates. Sorry that the Mike Moneymaking Machine has been shut down, for good. ;)

I am scared that if I start any, I won't stop.
Is there a way to turn off the Wall spam from these games if I do play?

Most wall spam that is thru a game or application, if you go to the upper right corner of the announcement, you'll find a "Hide" option. I have a tons of hidden apps on my FB acct, mostly from other folks.

It seems like I'm confusing folks again... And Mobsters 2:Vendetta is my main game.
Currently a Hit man (Bounty Hunter) ... Thinking of switching to a Assassin later on. Debating that one.
Quite a few character classes to choose from, each with their own perks/benefits.
Of course, the bigger your mob, the more you can handle mission wise or if you're attacked or in various zones.
This guy "Reaper 77" kept attacking me for unknown reasons ... He died at least twice from me. Otherwise, every time he's attacked me, he kept losing. While I keep pounding him. I tend to return at least one hit for every hit (or attempt thereof), and I consider punching (sissy slap) a hit - thus hit for those. :D When you can't hit the person, why even bother to punch? It's insulting!

Dunno whether to laugh or find this overly cute. :) And *NO* it is NOT mine. Seriously.
