Not criticizing you, just some IC Greebo commenting on whoever designed this place. ;)

No, I know. It *is* one of the common complaints I've read about the adventure. I've done my best to spice it up some. That troop captain was one attempt. I hope it worked. I'll have to do more of the same as we go on.
But one good thing is that you all are level 3 and fighting w/ 6 ppl. The point were at is designed for 5 level 2s so I get to add mobs here and there (like the troop captain). I've been afraid to add anything too powerful especially w/ a deadline looming over your heads, but we'll see how things go.

Has these runes done anything other than necrotic damage to anyone??? IF not then i am just going to walk through them and let my resist nec 6 do the work for me for a change...

Just to explain the whole switch-for-the-door thing. Yes, the original module had a switch for the door in the ceiling. Yes, I took it out at first. I wanted to give Cilene a opportunity to use her Thievery skills since I don't think she's had a chance yet. Instead of holding things up (b/c I think the next fight'll be fun) by making the rest of you unskilled-in-Thievery ppl try to get it, I'd just bring back the switch. TaDA!

I'm pretty sure that using MoaTL doesn't change the fact that you rolled a natural 1. You'll auto-miss in either case.

ahh crap, i was think of skill rolls... whelp that is a waste of 2 daily powers

Assuming the second daily you're talking about is MoaTL (which is an encounter power) you didn't use it. I wouldn't do that to you.

I assume Quarry damage is maxed on a crit like Sneak Attack. If not, the DM can roll the d6 for Quarry.
I assume Quarry acts like Warlock's Curse and I've always maxed that when Amaril crits.

I think so, too.
I also forgot the Totem crit bonus, now added in.

Any damage roll that is part of the basic attack is automatically maxed on a qualifying crit, yes. The only die rolling that happens on a critical hit is either:
1) When the automatic hit of a natural 20 + the modifiers wouldn't normally hit - in which case only normal damage is rolled; or
2) When a weapon or power has a "crit" damage attribute.

Lightning clash maybe?

Well Crap... the copy of the sheet I have has Dual Lightning Strike as my new level 3 Encounter power
Either I forgot to change it here on my end to the transposing lunge you have or I forgot to tell you I changed it to DLS (It is your call as I have not use Either power before today)
EricStratton

Since I don't see DLS mentioned in any of the posts (Level 3 approaching or Stats & Powers) I gotta go w/ Transposing Lunge. If you *really* meant to switch, you can swap at the next extended rest. Else, you'll need to wait until you level again to swap.

That being said, I'll let you, Q, decide what power you want to use for your turn. I'll use any/all applicable rolls from your previous post.

used the transposing lunge... updated post... i will still have a d20 roll of 10 waiting for first action next round
i was really looking at all my powers to follow a lighting and/or thunder theme when possible... so if you are ok with the swap at next extended rest that would be great with me

Amazing how a few crits make a tough battle much easier. Wow.

And at least I'm no longer burning and can walk
I thought 1-10 was fail, 11-20 save. That would be 50/50. Does immobilize stop all teleporting?

No, 10 or better is a success, and no immobilize doesn't affect teleport.

I'm going to throw the 10 away. Keeping track of rolls between rounds makes my head hurt. Just reroll next round please.
And that's fine. I know what a pain Ethan can be; I can only imagine what twins can do to a person's brain.

You're tellin' me. The level 5 mob was the first to fall. Bastards. :mad!:

Since Razorclaw Shifting does not have the Beast Form keyword, I am assuming I have to be out of Beast Form to activate it. This is annoying and strange since it is a racial power, not a class power. DM ruling?
As hard as I tried, I can't think of any logical reason why you can't use Razorclaw Shifting in beast form.
