View Full Version : Question for League membership

I know our league will fill up kinda fast, but I was wondering if I could invite a friend to join our league. His name is Bob, he's Becky's brother, and he is into console games bigtime. He's also interested in trying out FFL but wants to do a free league to see if he likes it. I'm trying to start a free league among my friends, but it's not looking like that will go too far. Would this be permissible?
Thanks!

Sure. I invited my brother again too. That would only make 11.
Who played last year that hasn't signed up yet?

My dog wants to play.
Hey, the more the merrier unless we freeze out someone who played last year. I say fine on letting in the brothers(in-law) since we only had 12 folks last year and we have 16 slots this year.

Keep in mind, too, that the max membership goes up to 20, if we need it. The drafting pool will be extra-sparse that way, but if it gives everyone the opportunity to play, and will add a little something to the later rounds and the season, I'm all for it.

As of July 31, if we don't have at least 15, I will lock it at 14. I chose 16 incase we had a flood of interest, but I really think 12 is best given the penchant for multiple RBs all over the NFL now. I just don't find 35-45 point weeks as much fun.

Good point. I'm thinking posting a 100+ point week could be a bigger challenge than ever this year, even if we max out at 12 teams again.

I just signed up, and I make team #13. :?
If there isn't a another team forthcoming, I'll drop out to keep things even.

Rubi makes 14. I am closing the league since everyone here who wants in seems to have done so.

Could you please open it up for two more teams? My brotherinlaw is REALLY interested in trying it out, and this will be his only means to do so. Then the last slot could be taken by Shiz's brother, and everyone would be happy. :)
(My bro-in-law hasn't signed up yet since he's been so busy in his summer activities - ie, he's involved in two musicals this summer and the practices have consumed all his time. I'll tell him whether he can sign up or not, given the answer here...)
