How do you set up to auto draft? I'll be working the night of the draft.

Right now there is a listing of the players based on their aggregate score values from last season. I believe what happens is when it's your turn to draft, the system will choose the highest ranked player still available on that list for you. It also breaks them down by position over time, but I'm not sure how that goes. To change that, you can edit the list rankings as you see fit, rearranging player positions and/or omitting players outright whom you don't want to draft (/em glares a tEmmitt Smith from last season). If you do nothing, then you get the basic listing by default.

I recall someone auto-drafted last season, and ended up kicking the collective arses of quite a few of us.

I'll probably be on auto-draft as well. Looks like there will be a few of us at the top of the list. ;)

Yes, Gaul. If you do not show up, the system will autodraft for you using your edited rankings (if you did anything) or the official rankings (if you didn;t.)

Shiz's brother may have done okay, but NecroGod did awesome, drafting Jamal Lewis and one other stud back from the autodrafter only. He filled a couple weaknesses during weeks 4-6, but basically made it to the playoffs with minimal effort or planning. :)

I may be autodrafting as well through no will of my own. My DSL service has been out since midnight Sunday and as of 10:30pm last night they still hadn't been able to fix the routing issues effecting my area. So there is a good possibility that I could be shut out of accessing the web tonight.

I'm going to adjust my draft rankings accordingly today while I'm at work.

Wow, this may be a much quicker draft that last year, even with the higher number of GMs... That said, I'm still more wary of this year's draft than any other draft I've ever participated in. With such a huge number of people playing, the quality of player is going to plummet very quickly...

Lots of autodrafting will make predicting availability easier for those of us present since it will be obvious what the next autodraftee will be (assuming most of you stick to the official rankings pretty closely.)

True, but with the limit of 90seconds per draftee, the time to peruse and see who'll most likely be available when, will be very tight. :)

Likely forced to autodraft here as well. My work schedule this week is kicking my arse from pillar to post so I plan to be sleeping come 7 tonight so I can drag my carcass back into work at 3 AM for another 12-14 hour day...

Drax and I will be there at a minimum. I expect Ash and Kristin as well.

Pretty certain serani and Rubi will be there too. Uncertain about whether Zoldan and Lycos will be there, and have no clue who the Brewmeisters or Big Blue are...

Big Blue is my colleague. He is 50/50. He just moved and isn't sure he will have internet access tonight.

Great news, my internet connection at home is now up, so I will be live drafting tonight.

Well, great news for me, bad news for everyone else I suppose... :D

You're assuming the rest of us think you make good drafting decisions...

Edit: PS: Glad you'll be drafting live tonight. :)

Yeah, I'd be worried if he was drafting dead. Or scared, maybe.
