Until the first real game of the season (Thursday night).

Is your team prepared? Are you prepared? Do you have what it takes?
Can you give some to me? Please?

Good luck to everyone! Feel free to commence trash talking and/or last minute advice giving/taking! :D

Good luck to everyone! Feel free to commence trash talking and/or last minute advice giving/taking! :D
Sure thing!

Advice: Raveneye, prepare to not do any trash talking whatsoever until your team advances to 15th place or higher...

Advice: Everyone, do not give up throughout the season. It's a long season, and a poor performance during week 1 does not (always) equate to a poor player, so give the players a chance. ... Plus, even if you're out of any chance for the playoffs come weeks 13, 14, 15 (or, in Raveneye's case, week 2:!: ), do not give up on your team; you could play the role of spoiler and force another team out of the playoffs, which is always fun! :D

Advice: Have fun! That's what this league is all about! Don't take any matchup or lineup preparation or anything else too seriously, else you'll take the fun out of the game and make it work. We all work too much as it is, so might as well keep at least our games fun. :)

Is that what you had in mind, Raveneye? :D

The brewmasters have been offically reduced to the ranks of fodder for the othe rteams to chew up on... I didnt take any time to do research I have to many second or third strings filling my rosters. No Idea how to fix it as I dont dont know who is a starter and who is a bench warmer. I have 3 decent picks and I might just drop my whole team and put them on the waiver wire. just basically give bye weeks to my opponets??

Don't do that Q, you'd be surprised what can happen throughout a season. My fist year playing I drafted like 11th out of 16 and didn't know what I was doing. I wound up with a handful of starters and a bunch of second string guys. I think I lost my first four games in a row.

But I paid attention on the weekends and watched some games, picked up guys from the waiver wire that had good performances filling in for other injured or poor performing guys, plus a couple of my second stringers turned out to be starter material, and before long I was actually winning games. I didn't make the playoffs or anything, but I chaled the year up to learnign expereince and still had fun scouting for gems on the waiver wire and learning what NOT to do the following year.

I might just drop my whole team and put them on the waiver wire.

Please do not do that. If you really want to give up, then don't trade or drop any players. It can create unfair imbalances.

Edit: looking at your schedule, your pessimism could be excessive. You could win 6-8 games. I think I won 6 last year and I thought I was at least competent.

I have 3 decent picks

In a 16-team league, 3 decent picks can carry your team a LONG way. :P

Heh, I'm hoping that LT alone can carry my team all the way. :)

I'm just hoping not to come in last.
