Well, I didn't win my matchup in WFFL, but I didn't get destroted either. Having my first 'wish I hadn't benched him' moment though with Quentin Griffin. Really had no clue who he was, and don't even care for the Broncos, but watching the game tonight, I like him. Only 5'7", that's great... he's got some good moves, think I'll pull him off my bench.
As for games this weekend, I must say that I'm still disappointed in my Chief's "new" defense. New? bleah... still sucks.
Best game that I caught was the season opener Thursda night. Indy vs. New England. Good stuff there.

Well, most of my predictons were fairly accurate, including the one that I'd lose overall.
TO killed me with his 3 TD catches. It's tough to overcome a 25+ point score by an opposing team's wideout, even though Clinton Portis and Dom Davis did their best to close the gap for me mwith great RB performances. I also regretted starting Tommy Maddox over Carson Palmer by the end of the day, although even the 15 point difference there would not have saved me. Midwest Bashers was simply the better performing team this week, so congrats to them on the victory.
At least now the pressure is off for a repeat undefeated season for my guys!

Here's a question (not having seen the KC game): how the hell did Tony Gonzalez get me 55.83 points?????????
EDIT: [Never mind. Seems to be a bug in the Yahoo! system.]

Jamal, Jamal, wherefore art thou, Jamal? Wow was that painful. I think 100% of all FFL pundits were wrong on that game.

Not just the FFL guys either, pretty much every single overview of opening weekend had the Ravens pounding Cleveland so this morning in office pools across the nation (except maybe in Cleveland) people are groaning. I bet a lot of Survivor pools had Baltimore as a sure thing Week 1 bet as well. Ouch!

Seems that 2 of my players decided to go down in flames with injuries this week. *sigh* *sniff* *sniff*
Although, I didn't do too bad. At least I can sleep tonight! :)

Me too. Last year I was ousted in the first week by Houston. I have to doubt sports consensus a lot more it seems. :)

I had StL winning over Ari in my survivor league, as Ari is my 'gimme' team for losing, this year. :) Followed closely by SF and SD (unless week 1's defensive showing was real for SD, then I may have to change my attitude towards them :)).
Was generally happy about my team, tho' Dallas giving up 5 TDs to Culpepper let me down. Am very happy with my sole TE's job ... 8 rec for 86yds and 1 TD. Sad that that's my highest receiver total on my active AND bench roster, but so it goes... Tho' I guess I still have Walker playing tonight. Really surprised that Ron Dayne scored more pts than my #2 back, Correy Dillon. (So nyah, Zoldan! ;))
Looking forward to a fun-filled year!
My other league (which we in the league jokingly refer to as the "Money League" ... *cough* :)) has me down by 6pts (101-95) with GB defense yet to play, and my opponent having no one left to play. :) *cheer* :)

I'm down 26+ to Vercetti with tonight's game to go. I have my QB, primary RB and TE to go so its possible I can overcome, although I don't expect GB to put up 30+ against the Carolina defense... Unfortunately, she's starting my kicker in opposition, so any TDs I score are functionally only going to be 5 pts :?
Ah well, there's always next week. 8)

Well, as expected, TO was one of my top 2 scorers. How he scored was the big surprise for me. I was also very pleased to see double digit income from my defense, thanks to a lot of forced turnovers. I hope Seattle can continue that trend for me.
Were a lot of wierd server errors monday and tuesday. All player transactions now show -empty- as the team responsible.

Now, I thought yesterday that Killer Wasp Drones had me be 30+ points. Instead, I look at the standings and I won?!?!?! Woot!
So, either the league page was showing the results incorrectly, or I'm a dork and can't read the page correctly! So, my victory may be short lived determing what happens with Shaun Alexander. *shrug* At least I won one! :D

Your welcome. I dropped Seattle because they supposedly sucked due to injury issues. Boy did I get sandbagged by the consensus this week.

Just because NO sucks doesn't mean Sea D doesn't... :)
However, TB offense also sucks, so they streak may stretch to 2.
Sorry Shiz, had no clue how awful NO and TB were to be this year.

Heh. Not your fault, clearly. There are plenty of weeks. Brooks will have a few good games, hopefully.
