Ok, starting the new week. My new opponent is Killer Wasp Drones:
Bulger v. Hasselbeck - Bulger should exploit a weak Atlanta defense, and Hasselbeck should have a hard day against TB. +5
Owens v. Toomer - I'm expecting the Phi/Min game to be a shootout, so I should again see a lot of points from TO. I just don't see Toomer and whichever QB plays against Washington making a lot of hookups. +5
Fitzgerald v. Branch - This will be an interesting matchup, since they're playing each other, so to speak. Fitzgerald will see some passes, but should be heavily covered all day. Got his feet wet last week, but can he pay off? -3
Barlow v. McAllister - 2 decent offenses, 2 questionable defenses in another head to head matchup game. McAllister should gain more, but both should have a good day. -2
Staley v. Jones - I don't expect Baltimore to drop 2 bad defensive games in a row, and I expect Staley to bear the brunt of their frustration. -4
Clark v. McMichael - McMichael should have another good day, since he's Miami's only other offensive option at this point. Clark and Pollard had only 1 catch between them in week 1 vs. NE, and that won't happen again, but that shouldn't be enough to equalize this matchup. -4
Wayne v. Brown - Brown is currently marked as DTD. As long as he plays, he should outscore Wayne. -3
Wilkins v. Andersen - Morten Andersen is the Keith Richards of the NFL. The only thing that will keep this from being a huge gainer for me will be the shootout of Phi/Min. +3
Seattle v. Baltimore - Seattle's defense is still an unknown in this equation. Only thing I'm certain of is Baltimore will score well this week. -4
I'm not expecting to come out on top in this one, but it should be a close scoring matchup. (-7 overall)
