Ew. I think I may be in some trouble...

I'll likely be doing a little more tinkering, but as things stand:

- Carr v Garcia - Carr's against the woeful KC D, while Garcia has to face a fired-up NYG D that forced 7 turnovers against WAS last week. (Which, in turn, made me lose in Week 2 of Elimination Football, as I had WAS picked...) Edge: Carr

- Javon Walker v Chad Johnson - Walker v IND, v Johnson against Bal... Close matchup, but I give the edge to Johnson. He's the main receiver, and Bal will stifle the run, whereas Green should have a heyday and leave Brett Favre to relax during this one.

- Stallworth v Galloway - Assuming Stallworth doesn't pull a "week 1" and brings his "week 2" game ... Plus Galloway is hurtin' in Tampa, so Edge: Stallworth.

- Priest v Rudi - Rudi against a stifling run D (mentioned above :)), whereas Priest is facing a up-and-coming-but-still-fairly-average Hou D (assuming Priest plays)... If he doesn't, it'll be Calvin Cooley. Ew. Edge: Priest, if he plays; otherwise, Rudi

- Dayne v Anderson - Edge: Push

- Eric Johnson v Boo - Johnson has caught 5+ passes for 60+ yds each week this season, and has 1 TD already, compared to Boo's 13yds total (including a complete absence in week 2)... Edge: Johnson

- Tim Carter v Q Griffin - Quentin against a terrible SD run D, v Carter (Warner's new right hand man) against Cle... Given Q's "exposure" last week against Jac but his favorable matchup this weekend, I'll say: Edge: Griffin; tho' realistically, this may be closer to a push than a landslide Edge: Q. :)

- John Hall OR Kris Brown v Edinger - Will likely go with Brown, against a porous KC D. But Edinger will have some chances this week against Chi. Edge: Push

- Dallas D (v WAS) v TB (v Oak) - Was was horrible last weekend, but great the week before that. Oak played well against a decent Pitts D, but TB being tougher will give Oak fits. Still, given Was's collapse last week, Edge: Dallas.

Don't how that adds up to this weekend, but the only thing I really know is that I'm in some trouble, if Priest does not play. If he does, I'll get by. :) But I wish NE didn't have a BYE week until week 9 or 10 this season... *sigh* :)

Hrmm...

That's my team there. I'll have to take a closer look at this later.

This week, I face VV. So, who knows! She's got a rep!

Only time will tell!

Brooks v Testaverde: The old man is unreliable. He is going to implode badly at some point. New Orleans is going to throw A LOT with Deuce out. +10

Harrison vs Price: I should win this one. Both have good matchups. +5

Warrick vs Porter: Gannon is throwing to any and all receivers, but Warrick is against the Ravens D so I call this a push.

Lewis vs LT: Both backs have disappointed big so far. Both face mediocre defenses. Too hard to call.

Duckett vs George: With Dunn hurt, Duckett is going to get 15 or more carries. George is terrible and facses a tought D. +2

LJ Smith vs Gonzo: I lose. -5

Stecker vs Driver: Stecker is an unknown but he will get the rock with Deuce out. Both facing sloppy defenses. +3

Kickers and Defense are anyone's guess.

It looks to me like I should win. This makes me think I am doomed. :D

I play Erudite this week. He has to sit the point machine that is Curtis Martin as the Jets are on vacation, and injuries have forced him to start some bench guys at RB and WR, so at first glance it looks like a big winner for me.

Then you see he owns Vick, and Vick plays Arizona this week, which means Vick is going to pass for a few TDs, run for a few more TDs, and he may even kick a couple of field goals while he's out there feeling good about himself. This does not bode well for me.

I predict Vick will outscore my 2 starting RBs and WRs combined, and carry Erudite to victory.

Micheal Vick is Kordell Stewart circa 1997, except better. That's both good and bad. When he puts up points, he puts up a LOT of points. When he doesn't, well....

He put up 10 points for me in my week 1 loss, and 19.5 in my week 2 win. I'd much rather have him sit than Martin, who has given 26.5 and 23.7 in two weeks. I'd also feel better if the pansy formerly known as Fred Taylor ever showed up to play ball. :x

Fragile Fred should now be known as Forgetful Fred, since he seems to have forgotten where the endzone is or which direction he's supposed to be running.

Send Fred an email with a link to this thread, that should get him fired up enough to net 100 yards and a TD this weekend.
