It's not just the 3-0 start that's impressing me with sera's team this year!
It's more the margin of victory - 53pts, 2 pts, 73pts! (and you still have Coles playing tonight)! Very impressive work, Sera!

Heh, now maybe you can teach me a few things about FFL...

She's posting amazing point totals every week with players that I would not have guessed could do so well (Culpepper excpeted of course) at the start of the season.

Shows you what tons of research, dedication to the sport and a far reaching knowledge of fantasy football can get you : Pretty much nothing. Just look at my team.

WTG Serani! I sense an undefeated season in the making!

I play her in week 4 when Daunte and Onterrio are on bye. Lucky me. :P I should have a shot unseating her with Foster off bye against Atlanta, Jamal playing KC and Brooks/Stecker facing Arizona.

You know, I was thinking something along the lines of "maybe I DON'T need to do quite so much research" yadda yadda yadda. But the truth ofit is, I have a passing (very passing) knowledge of players, but I usually stick with those names that I know and, so far, it just seems to have done well for me. This year, I went with those that did well for me last year and I'm thinking it's not TOO bad of a strategy. Granted, chances are, another week or three and I'll find myself headed for 4th or 5th place, but ya know, it's just cool to not be 16.

I think I got lucky, too, because a few of my guys were looking rather questionable for performance (aside from my boy, Culpepper, of course) in general. They weren't all that great toward the end of the season last year and, therefore, weren't rated all that high at the start of the season. Who knows? Maybe they'll end up the same this year. But it's fun, I'm having a blast and I'm not last and I didn't go with an ENTIRE team this year (yay, me!).

Thanks guys. I'm SOOO excited. I might actually see the play offs again. That'd be too cool.

Of course, you all know that if I managed, somehow, to come out on top, you'll never hear the end of it. ;)

Exactly, secretly Serani was spending hours watching ESPN, going to all of the local newspaper web sites to get the locally skinny on all of her prospective players! Pouring over team schedules and balancing her team appropriately. Running simulation after simulation depending on what position she got during the draft.

Sorry Serani! I had to let your secret out! *shrug*

Congratulations! Good work!
