Another low scoring week for the most part.

Drew Brees scored over 25pts and got MORE injured.
Amos Zeroue's 11th hour pickup makes Vercetti's Vengeance look smart. :D
Derrick Mason trade makes me look smart.
Patten pickup last week made Erudite's Knights look smart this week, but didn't he have Zeroue earlier? :D
Tiki Barber continues to outperform expectations.
Ethyr Avengers, Kelethin Rangers and Felwithe Crusaders all started incomplete rosters and lost. There must be a lesson there somewhere. 8) (edit: just noticed Berzerker Clerics also left a blank, but he won.)

I have had a good 2 weeks here with Stephen Davis out. When he comes back in Week 5, I will be struggling at RB again.

Alright! I'm 0-4!

Hmmm... wonder if I can make this a defeated season? ;)

I thought this week was going to be bad for me. I first saw that McNabb just had an ok game yesterday, and Shaun Alexander was out on a Bye. And my replacements for Alexander were Pittman and Alstot, not ones that I would even get close to the scores that Alexander is usually pulling in. But my WRs really did a nice job, and with everyone putting in some decent scores and NE coming in big for me. I pulled off the win with a respectable score.

I'm happy with the outcome. Now, this week I lose McNabb, and I get Alexander back. :? I'm not sure how it'll work out this coming week!

Wouldn't that be an "un-victorious season"?

Even if I drop to 1-3, I'll still be happy because the matchup was competitive (coming down to Holmes and Gonzalez is pretty cool; let's hope the run gets stuffed).

Um, no, let's not. :)

Was shocked at Pennington's performance. Had Carr in until Friday, then changed it for "experts'" reasons... Wish I had gone with my gut. Ah well. :)

Those frickin' "experts" can kill ya. Dropping Seattle was a huge mistake, but at least Atlanta has come through. Total luck, though.

Those frickin' "experts" can kill ya. Dropping Seattle was a huge mistake, but at least Atlanta has come through. Total luck, though.

Tell me about it. This week the "experts" told me the following:

1) "Start Kerry Collins - he's experienced, had a great last half of the game last week when filling in for Gannon, and he's got great long ball skills to match the receiver set he's throwing to." Guess that receiver set was on the other teams defense, cause he threw 3 INTs and fumbled twice with ZERO TDs. Sunday, Bloody Sunday...

2) "Start Tony Hollings - he's back from injury and Johnathan Wells looked only mediocre in last weeks fill-in for the injured Dom Davis. Hollings will get the chance to prove himself against a poor run D. " - Oh there was proving going on, Johnathan Wells proving the experts are idiots. Had I picked up and started Wells I'd be happier today.

3) "Start Ben Troupe - The Titans TE is filling in for the injured Erron Kinney and the coacjes love him. He's a sneaky play this week and good for 50yards and a score." - Guess what, the coaches love the other TE more, as he's the one with 50+ yards and a score while Troupe still does not know what the football even looks like.

4) "Start Doug Gabriel - The Raiders receiver has excellent rapport with Collins and the skills to make big plays down field. With Collins airing it out all day, expect Gabriel to haul in decent yardage and maybe a score." Yeah, see Kerry Collins above for details.

These four guys combined for a whopping 3.50 points for me this week. That's less than one point per player.

The experts may now bite me. :x

The one thing all this tells me is ...

Raveneye's found a new "favorite" expression for the season.

I don't know, RE... Given the shape of your team, it looks like a pretty fair matchup to me. :)

So it seems!

*EDIT* - I can't believe as of this morning I am 3-1 with an average weekly score of 62.25 points. That's mind boggling.
