I told the folks at the reunion that I'd start a thread for the recipes that could be found at the reunion. As such, here's the thread. Let's hope we can actually get them, eh? ;)

It's a Wonderful Waldorf
http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,,FOOD_9936_14237,00.html

We modified it by:
using 2 Gala apples and one Golden delicious
Using Pecans instead of Walnuts (crushed and toasted)
Using a Cranberry Raisin mix rather than just Raisins
only 1 teaspoon curry

These are from allrecipes.com I found that looking at the comments really helped in subtle changes that made the dish better.

French Toast Souffle http://brunch.allrecipes.com/az/FrnchTstSffl.asp I used cinnamon bread instead of white bread.

Breakfast Pies http://brunch.allrecipes.com/az/BrkfstPis.asp I split the Pillsbury Grand Bisquits in half before rolling them out, using the whole bisquit was too much dough for the muffing tin.

This is my non-Jewish Mom's recipe for Kugel:

Kugel (this freezes very well and should be cut prior to freezing)

1 pound wide noodles
1 cup sour cream
3 oz cream cheese
7 oz farmers cheese (I used more cream and cottage cheese - can't always find farmers cheese)
1 pound cottage cheese

6 Tablespoons melted butter (cooled so it doesn't cook the eggs)
6 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 3/4 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Mix all the wet stuff and pour over the noodles.

put in 9x 13 inch greased pan (I also filled a 9 inch pie pan too)
cook 30 minutes at 350 degrees
top with cinnamon sugar

cook another 20-30 minutes at 350 degrees

top can be browned in broiler.

Apple Galette

Pillsbury ready made pie crust
grannysmith apples cored, peeled and sliced
cinnamon
sugar
apricot jam

lay out sliced apple on pie crust, leaving the outer 1 1/2 inch empty
fold the outer crust up and over the edges of the apple

bake at 350 degrees F for 15-20 minutes - till crust is golden
melt 1-2 Tablespoons of jam and brush over the top of the tart for a glaze

Baked Potato soup recipe. We don't put in the bacon bits and we tend to preseason the potatoes with powered garlic and garlic and wine seasoning. Then we tend to add more seasoning to taste. Also if you do it in a crockpot rather then a big pot, I suggest using 5 cups of milk rather then 6 because it tends to end up a little thin otherwise. You can also use any type of milk you prefer we tend to use skim milk.

Wow, I never would have thought that the baked potato soup was made with skim milk!
