So yet again I win despite my best attempts to sabotage myself. This week I could have started Rueben Droughns instead of Domanick Davis and either Brandon Lloyd or Nate Burleson instead of Keary Colbert and wound up with 20 points more than my finally tally. Instead I net 70 points, and yet still ekk out the win only because the team I played once again seemed to underperform. It's like my low scoring curse infects the teams I play each week just enough to keep things close.

Thank you Jermaine Wiggins (and Mr. Culpepper) for the highest score on my squad this week. It's pathetic when your TE outscores your QB, or both your primary running backs combined, even if he did haul in two TDs.

Mewelde Moore chipped in as well, bringing a wealth of points to my flex position this week. Without these two and the high flying Minnesota offense I'd be 3-3 instead of 5-1. I've never depended on a single team in fantasy ball as much as I'm coming to depend on the Vikings. That scares me...

Yep.

Barring an amazing performance from Clayton tonight, I'll likely net a loss to Quervo this week by sitting the season-long underperforming Correy Dillon... Who I sat in both leagues. Would've been down by 6pts in our league and 8 pts in my other league had I started DIllon. Instead I'm down by 18 and 25, respectively. Ugh.

This was an all time low for my team. Need I say more. Plus, I think I played against the team that had the highest score for the week.

I have to hand it to you, Wiggles. That Wiggens pickup was inspired. I went into the Sunday night game thinking that 20pts from Brooks would win me the week. He got his 20, but Wiggens killed me. I have to pat myself on the back for Morton, although it didn't matter in the end. I am killing myself for letting McGahee go for nothing after squeezing him out of you, Wiggles. :D If I had kept him and played him this week, I would have lost by less than a point. That would have been worse. :)

Hey brother, I'm kicking myself for letting you squeeze McGahee outta me in the first place. I had seen nothing from him for weeks, and Henry looked to have the job locked up for yet another year, then suddenly this week there's talk of Henry wanting to be traded and McGahee being the future in Buffalo. DOH! :x

Ah well, at least I can ride the Droughns and Mewelde Moore trains for the next couple of weeks until their competition returns and they have to fight for carries...

Moore look fantastic, or maybe it was the Saints' D. There are lots of teams that would love to have a Moore in the #2 position. He would be a great fit for Philly.

My receiver corps (Donald Driver apparently excluded) continue to stink up the field. Thank god for Gonzo, Brady, and LT.

And I can't believe that I left 17.00 in defense on my bench in favor of a defense that cost me a point. Ugh.

Not a good week for me to have to leave out Wayne with a BYE. 1 fumble and jack else on the WR/RB slot cost me points, plus Seattle having another post BYE bad week. Saw this happen last year with Indianpolis' defense, before the monday night game vs. TB right before their BYE week. Their defense never played the same for the rest of the year.

I guess this was my punishment for my good deed of helping Buck fix his team. :?

I'm pretty sure you're actually thinking of Better Off Dead. I don't remember that from Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

I had a good week. (Sorry Lycos...) My top three draft picks finally showed up to help Curtis Martin out and I'm finally back at .500 for the season. :D

Um, I'm talking specifically, um, about the scene in Ferris Bueller where Matthew Broderick, um, imitates John Cusack and ... uh ...

I got nothing.
