Great season, all! Except for some no- or few-shows, we had an active and fun league! Really enjoyable!
A huge thank you to Shiz for commissioning another great season in Fantasy Football! You did a great job! Let's tone down the pt/reception and maybe up the pt/yd a little for rushing/receiving, and we'll make things even more competitive! :)
On the other hand, my condolences to Shiz, who had his colleague play spoiler to keep him out of the playoffs. (The only real contribution he had all season in our league. :()
Speaking of condolences, I have to give mine also to Raveneye. Great season, bud, especially considering your autodraft of scrubs. Heh, you ended up with the second-best record in the league, and didn't score over 80pts until week 9! (From week 9 on, tho', you didn't score under 80, so that's pretty cool too!) Unfortunately, you get to take an early exit from the playoffs this year. This is a tough position to be in, and I pity you for it, but if it makes you feel any better, I'll dedicate my championship to your honor! It's a small thing, I know... (your honor, I mean) ... but it's the least I can do (willingly, that is).
G'luck to all who made it to the playoffs! Looking forward to beating and defeating three of you in the coming weeks! :D

I have to agree. Thinking .25 receptions, 12yds/pt rushing/receiving. If I drop the latter to 10, then I should drop the QBs to 20 or 25yds.
As far as my colleague spoiling me, that's what I get for getting on his case about being an absentee head coach. Heck, I got him to grab Boller. :D :?

You can have that Championship when you pry it from my cold dead fingers...
Thanks for the compliment though, I really was surprised my squad come on so strong in the late weeks, but I guess 33 roster moves will do that for you eventually. Of course, I'm talking to the King of Churn, what are you up to about 45 now?

When it became a real possibility that I could miss the playoffs going into the last couple weeks of the regular season, I took it upon myself to win something... :)

I had a great time this season. The Commish was robbed! :(
Raveneye has to get the award for the most hardest working coach of the season. He was constantly trying to make something out of his team when most people would've quit.

Oh boy! This week hurt. I'm afraid I'm going down in a blaze of glory.
OK, maybe not in a blaze of glory! :D

Well, the dream is over, Drax is crushing me by 19 points with him hgaving Dillon tonight still and me only having Miami's defense left to play.
Congrats on advancing Drax.
Apparently my team decided that the recent weeks had been some kind of dream, woke up, and reverted to their early season sub-70 point performance levels. What kills me is that I left Nate Burleson on the bench since he's been very quiet since Randy Moss' return, and this week Nate goes nuts for 2TDs and 134 yards on 5 receptions netting 22.68 points all by himself, that would have been the difference in my game...
Also I left Chad Pennington on the bench (3TDs 253yards for 26 points) in favor of Brian Griese who'd been playing well but only netted 7.93 this week. Had I swapped in Pennington and Burleson I'd have 36 more points and be winning 96-79 right now.
I have only myself (and Tampa Bay and Cincinnati) to blame...

Well, if I had made it to the playoffs, I would have been seriously embarassed. I had 3 players with ZERO.

If I'd made it to the playoffs, I'd have done okay this week...
Micheal Vick - only 154 passing yards, but 68 rushing. Plus he threw for 2 TDs and ran for another.
Curtis Martin - 134 yards and a pair of TDs
Fred Taylor - 165 yards and a TD
Heck, even Shockey and McCariens caught TDs this week. I'd have done some damage.
Ah well. Maybe next year. ;)

Congrats on advancing Drax.Thanks.
In general, I was preparing for defeat going into the contest with Davis against Chi and Griese against NO. Thankfully my last-week pickup of Jac defense paid off, in addition to Ramsey doing decent enough and Dillon having a 2TD effort.
Looking forward to this coming week's contest (can't view it directly, b/c Yahoo! is having login issues - Information Alert, so this will be from memory primarily). Javon Walker against Mini, Ramsey against Dallas, Jac against a struggling Houston team. Am especially excited about the prospect of fielding Correy Dillon, Julius Jones, and Tatum Bell.
My other league didn't go quite as well for me this past week, tho'. :frown: I lost by ~18pts, 103.xx-85.xx. If there were no way I could've won, I would've been able to accept things better. And don't get me wrong, I accept my fate; it's how the game works sometimes. However, in my original lineup were Deuce, Michael Clayton, McCareins, and Eric Johnson. I played Clayton, but had Chris Brown (0pts), Andre Johnson (4.3), and LJ Smith (4pt). Had I kept those three positions as they were, I would've won by ~5pts, and advanced to the Superbowl. What's worse, I was against my good friend for this matchup. Fortunately, he didn't gloat at all, especially since he got more lucky by my misfortune. (He had McGahee (2pt) in.
Ah well.
