I grouped with Biaxident and Zyzzyva and a non-guildy named.. err.. Rilo<something> for a romp in the Crypt of Betrayal. We knocked out AQ4 in short order and worked on writs for a while. Slainte and Shiz joined us later and we continued to mow down mobs in CoB for quite a while. Exp was GREAT - both Biax and I DINGED :D Unfortunately, the bloodthorn sentinels were hard to find so I only finished 1 writ :lowsad: .
We did have one TPW when we had some blue ^^ adds and they took Shiz out faster than I could respond. Biax and Z gave it the old college try, but eventually they, too, succumbed. Debt was light, though, and quickly erased.
Made 8g+ overnight selling. Those rare cracked bones sell slowly, but they make a nice boost when they DO sell.
Oh.. anyone need Alchemist 30?

Dinner at my brother's place, hit the treadmill after that and did some tidying up around the house. Read for a while then crashed.
Edit: Picked up my Blue Rodeo concert ticket. We're somewhere in the front 6 rows, woo!

As Sagar mentioned, I joined the CoB writ group last night. XP was significantly better than the last CoB adventure I had, I gained 26% in about 60 minutes this time out. Didn't get any writs done though, as I'm still 49% away from 25th level, so my writs are all still TS oriented. I may solo in TS tonight if there is no other action to be had.
I do need to put out the call sometime in the near future. I need to kill 3 feign zombies and 8 strongboxes down near the Library in SH and need help doing it (AQ3). I also could use quick visits to the Chapel and the Armory to complete the archeology quest. I have a couple other SH quests as well, but those are the more important ones I'd need assistance with.
Should be on tonight, though I may be distracted by basketball...

RL - 3am, took 14-year old cat to the vet hospital. At 5am, learned that it's likely some type of liver disease, probably treatable by antibiotics, steroids or a combination. More tests today, hope she'll be able to come home soon.
WoW - I've had a blast with Kurtosis lately. Finished a bunch of quests yesterday, and after turning all in I've dinged L26 and am 50% to L27. Woot! Still cleaning up quests in RedRidge Mtns and Duskwood, and they're much easier now :)

WoW - finished up a bunch of quests in Duskwood. Ended up dinging level 25 just before logging last night. Overall, it was a great night. Lots of loot too. :D

EQ2: Sagar described Zyzzyva's adventures in the Crypt of Betrayal. He managed to reach level 27. In addition, he started the Tomb of Varsoon quest.
EQ1: Six years ago, EQ1 went live. To celebrate, there are special events going on in old Norrath. Sanmaren was part of a raid group that attempted to take out the Fabled Gorenaire in the Dreadlands. They failed. Badly. TWICE.

Wednesday night was a good night for our group getting the writs done. Everyone in the group had the same writs for Zek which we were able to finish them. We finsihed the Miners, Adders, Valley deer and the Timber Grizzly. The experience in this zone is good. The group consisted of Kullen, Crim, Moserae, Shadowgates and later Zoldan joined up. During the process Draeken was able to Ding lvl 32. I hope to get another Writ group together tonight to work on the other writs for Zek. I plan on logging in around 7pm EST. I also need to work on the patchman in Nek and also move over to the giant again and try to talk to him to get the quest from the giant language quests. While in TS I am still looking for Blood Talon too. Seeya out there in the land.

Sagar described our CoB adventure. I take responsibility for failing to complete his sentinel writ. There just weren't that many bloodsabers around so I led the group to the hard undead areas (level 27-29 mobs) where we did quite well thanks to Slainte's arrival. Nitz got very close to 26, but I had promised Kris to be off the PC before 10:30 so we could get to bed early (Wed is not typically a gaming night.)
New quest: one of the higher level bloodsaber dropped a tattered note that started a quest to find a rogue's tomb. Anyone know about this one?
Overnight, I sold one of the fighter Adept 1s I bought from the fence for a 3g, a 100% profit. It was also the one I was least interested in using for myself so that was double goodness.
Question: Even when I leave Nitz staring at a wall in his house, the fan on my graphics card can get seriously cranked up. What is it rendering if I am not moving? Anyway, I seemed to have solved that by reducing texture detail to minimum while I vendor.

DNP. Played Champions:Return to Glory on the PS2. its the EQ hacknslash sequel. It's..okay. The first game was fun. Unfortunatly, this game is pretty much the exact same thing, which is disapointing.

Worked a long time yesterday, ran a couple errands, then went home to play on my new computer. Despite the overwhelming response to my question in my PC Question thread... *cough* ;) :lowlol:, I managed to figure out the DVD-R/RW drive installation. Also installed and troubleshot my sound system (5.1) and printer. Just have some programs to install, likely tomorrow night or Sun evening, and I'll be set. Yay!
Unfortunately, in order to do what I did last night, given the time I started, I didn't make it to sleep until almost 1am. Ew.

actually played last night :o
Took Knemo out to find a group in Nek. No go. Kiir told me where to start the EL access quest, and that it didn't start out with me dieing (like I figure Zek will), so I beat up on some crabs. Then I ran around Nek doing a few things, joined up with someone offing Queen whasername for Cove of Decay access, had to ask the 35 we got to mentor someone (i'm 25, a 30 and a 32; I don't get credit with the 35) so he mentored someone saying "no problem" (yay!) and we offed the queen. Then I escaped back and ran around a bit more before heading out to CL to see if Cregan and I could get a group for BSV and the Lightstone general. No go, but we went in to try anyway. Stuff at the front was grey, but then the epicx2 mass decided to aggro us through sneak anyway (DOH!) and nothing shows up on track in that zone (GRRR!) so we never did find the General. Ran away twice though :o

Joined the Zek writ group late and helped with thier writs and tried to get the last 15% I needed to get Shadowgates to 30th. Well picked up 7% experience before I had to leave but unfortunately also 6% debt due to some near TPWs. A couple named got the better of our group. Did advance my Greenhood quest thanks to the group before having to log.
This morning in a determined puch to get the last 8% to level I started taking out solo orcs in Zek. Went ok and figured out a way to take out orcs 1 or 2 levels above me. Unfortunately I had 3 deaths in doing this. Two due to adds and one due to two resists in a row on keys spells. The last death pushed my equipment to it's limit and left me in my undies! :) Got my shard and ported back to Qeynos and paid about 50s to get everything mended and then headed to Forest Ruins to try to complete my goblin mastery. In 15 minutes I got the last two auto drops I needed and the last 2 body drops! Am I getting lucky or have these been made easier? The golem mastery went fast too! Need to goto TS and do the siren one next. Anyways the goblin mastery gave me just enough exp to finally dinged 30th! YEAH! :)
So I will now be picking up Zek writs to join Draeken and others in doing these! Glad to be able to hunt outdoors again! I will make a great push to finish a bunch of these to make up for not completing many writs in the past couple weeks.

Logged on Tuil to vendor and had our Wednesday Buffy&Beer party. Got mostly through season one, and kudos to Neph for getting a few more people hooked.
Afterwards logged on to do some crafting. Got Tuil mostly to 24 and Aonn almost to 25. Tuil sold about 10-12 stacks of Thylakoids, so I replenished my stock and will try to move them with regularity. I can replenish an 8 slot back in about 45 minutes and sell each wort for 2sp in good concience. Also made some spells for Gratzyn and Kullen.

DNP: I ended up going to my parents house to fix something on his PC. I frustrated him by fixing it too quickly. But the time it takes to drive to their house and back ended any chance of really playing. I did log Murgos in to vendorbot, but only sold one thing for 10s.
I plan to play tonight. I'd like to do BT if possible but am open to whatever. Oh and I'm on AQ4 if there are any groups working on that too.

Logged on and joined up with Mose Crim, and Drae in Zek to work on the last set of pre 35 writs I had. It was amazingly well planned out as everyone had the same writs. We finished out 15 writs between the 4 of us. After we were done with 3 of our writs SG joined us for miners and Zoldan joined us a little after that. We finished off the miner writ and wandered around Zek finishing off a few misc quests. All and all a good night.
I'll be looking to work on Feerrott access going into this weekend as 3 of my new writ givers give writs for there. For some reason the Qeynos Guards haven't caught up with the times and just started giving me harder mobs in Zek to kill.
Just as a note, I think the Fairy Queen in Nek you kill is for Caldron Hollow access.
And Thanks to Aonn for those new spells. :D

Actually logged on yesterday. Started the day running around and upgrading gear spent about 7 gold doing so. Then headed out to Zek to work on some quests. Finished a few quests and picked up a few more then headed to town to get the right writs for the evening. I then headed to EL and duoed with Patsien we couldn't find the wasps he needed and the speafish both of us needed were a bit to high but we took out some beetles and turtles and a few of the badgers I needed. He headed out and I finished off a quest in there.
Headed back to Zek and soloed in there again, waited for people to show, no one was showing so ran around some was going to help atty with Nek and owlbears when people started getting on so did writs as planned. Was fun. Ended the group 1.3% short of level so killed 4 solo mobs and leveled to 32 yay! Then headed to town and spent another 7 gold or so upgrading a couple of bags and boxes as well as buying an adapt 1 of one of my spells.

MURGOS : I'll be on tonight (most likely) and need BloodTalon as well (and some misc. griffawn feathers) so I'm game for getting a group together for him.

Bloodtalon shows up when HE feels like it, not when people are looking for him. It took me many days to find him.
That said, there are lots of griffons, mighty griffons and giants in that area. I am game to hang out in that area and farm exp while we wait for him to show.
We will need some help, though. He is a bad ash!

Make it four for Blood Talon. I need him too. I will be on around 6:30pm EST tonight. I also need to go over to the giant area and speak to the Main giant to finish the Giant language quests.

Played a little. Grouped up w/ Mos (woo!) in EL doing random stuff. Even a couple levels lower than me, she still tanks better. /sigh. ;)
Then I had to log for dinner. While out I bought the Bambi special edition and The Incredibles.

At least your bastards are able to play.....
No, I'm not bitter, not at all. I'm just getting extraordinarily frustrated with the crap this computer is throwing at me. If the damned OS upgrade ever shows up, I hope it can take care of the latest batch of BS. Otherwise there will be plaintive (and possibly expletive laden) plea for tech help coming soon to a forum near you...

Haven't played for a while.
Had a funeral in the morning. He was a great person and fun to be around each time I saw him. He died at age 53 from a massive MI ("heart attack") while working out at the gym. :lowsad: He was a retired Baltimore City cop and also served as the body guard of one of Balto's previous Govenors.
Don't know when I'll play next. Hope you all are having fun.

It was just a wisecrack. 5 healers and a Guardian are going to have trouble killing BT anyway. :lowrazz: You will need 'zerker mojo!!!
