Nitz was on and off in a few short bursts. I restocked my coffee supply, bought some better weapons and some app IV for my newer skills. Got parts of AQ5 done with some help from Zoldan and Gratzyn.
Re: AQ5, while killing unearthed settlers, I wasn't getting any drop notification at all. Am I bugged or am I killing the wrong mob? I swear the quest says unearthed settlers.

There are also Unearthed Settlers in the Dead River Basin. Perhaps those are the ones you need?

EQ1: Sanmaren participated in a successful multi-guild raid against Grummus in the Plane of Disease.
EQ2: Zyzzyva did a lot of exploring as well as some killing. Highlights include:
--- completing AQ5
--- starting the Enchanted Lands access quest (he now needs to talk to the captain)
--- completed part 2 of The History of Barbarians (part 3 is in the Enchanted Lands)
--- progressed a bit on Cauldron access quest

bah lousy weekend, starting with getting booted friday night. was in a great nek castle group and for some reason, after a CTD, couldn't get back in for at least 30 mins - odd because i had net connectivity. so i gave up and called it a night.
then DNP rest of weekend, ton of work and folks coming over preventing me from logging on.
hope to be around this week however.

Quite the active weekend for Gratzyn on her return to Norrath. Started out Saturday spending about half my available cash to complete the caster's ords quests, then combined the resulting reward orbs for the Necklace of Flowing Orbs. All told, she gained a bit over 50% of 24 by way of exp reward. She then retreated to TS to solo off and on. Eventually, she dinged 25. Somewhere in there, she obtained the upgraded spells Aonn had produced for her, which was quite a pleasant surprise - her main "nuke" now hits reliably in the 350-450 range, which helped streamline soloing greatly.
At different points on the weekend, she joined Nitz and Zoldan (with Nitz having to bow out due to parental responsibility before any hunting transpired), then Nitz and a pick up cleric, finally Slainte and Murgos. Over the course of those groups, many greys fell, but several quests were fulfilled and she gained nearly 45% of 25 between non-grey kills and quest rewards. A couple more days at that pace and she'll be back in line with much more of the guild.

Didn't get to play much, mostly vendor-botted and finished up a couple of quests. Spent most of the weekend doing spring cleaning and watching the NCAA tournement.

Lots of WoW this weekend. Got Kurtosis from L26 to L28 warrior, and have completed most quests in Duskwood and RedRidge except for a few elite ones. Going to start doing my armor quest soon. Spent lots of time at the Auction House - making leather stuff to sell, and buying stuff for Kurtosis. I'm going to need to save $ for soon, so I can afford a mount at L40...

I played a bit on friday night and finished up a few quests, but outside of that i didn't play much. I'm finding it difficult to get back into it, but i'm sure that will pass. Outside of that didn't do much but go out with friends.... nice relaxing weekend.

This weekend was good for getting the Shiny Brass Halberd. Before our Nek Castle group, we decided to see if we could get this done and 4 of us completed it. That night in Nek castle we proceeded further in reaching Everling and picked up the Guise of the Deciever Heritage Quest. Otherwise I didn't spend alot of time online since I was a bit under the weather. Last night however 2 more completed the Shiny Brass Halberd Quest bringing us that much closer to guild level 13.

Yep, Kullen and Crim helped Draeken and I finish the SBH last night. Kullen had help Draeken and I Friday night with some of the earlier stuff as well! Not much play other than that. Been playing SR a bit too.... we will see how long until I am attacked! :)

No gaming from the homefront here. But there is a new Puppy in the family.
Saturday Afternoon during Sara's lunch break from Board Exams, we went to a local mall for lunch and the SPCA was there. Sara saw 2 Pembrooke Welsh Corgi puppies, one female and one male. The female was White and tan, and the male was Black tan and White. Sara like the markings on the female better but she was very shy. The male was much more socialable.
I was a heartbeat away from getting them both when we found out they were brother and sister. But there was another nice family there that wanted the female. So we adopted the male. He was already nutered and has a microchip implanted. They also gave us a free bag of food.
So I spent all day Saturday allowing "Bailey" to explore the apartment and puppy proofing the place. I have decided against Crate training, I just got a child gate and will close off the kitchen for his use. He has been really good about taking care of "Business" when we take him out. He is also very good on the leash and responds well when called.
Sunday was a busy day... we had a few things to do so we made a bunch of short trips into stores and took Him with us. He like going for rides.
Only problem so far is that he appears to have Kennel Cough (IE: Canine cold.) Sara took him to the vet for the free 10 day check up this morning. He had a Hacking Cough, runny nose, runny eyes, and this morning he was coughing up what appeared to be phlim. So I am guessing it is just a cold, but we are being safe and having him checked out.

Wha-huh?
Corgis are great. If I was ever going to have another dog, they would be in strong contention. But I won't. I am done with pets. Childhood overdose.

Played some. Tantala made 25.
I think I'm going to have to delete the collection quests as I am more or less out of quest space (Tab has room for one more). It doesn't look as though the fix to make them separate will get in in time for me and I'd like to pick up some of the book based quests.
On the home front I got to see the Incredibles, which was ... Incredible. I also picked up Bubba Ho-tep which sounds dire from the name and precis (Elvis & JFK defend an East Texas rest home from the predations of a soul-sucking mummy) but turned out to be great fun. Give it a try if you want a change.

As far as deleting quests, delete the race specific ones first. The petrified eye reward for those are easily purchased from others if you really have your heart set on a specific illusion. I am close to trying to cash on my orc eye. It is fun being an orc, but it is not worth the expense of keeping orc bones in inventory.

Weekend was EQlite. Worked a good bit on some projects I've saved for this week (spring break). Got Aonn to 25 sage and got Taurel his 20 slot box from the field inspector. Going to get Aonn one and put them both in the shared slots (because I trade stuff between alts all the time). I'm slowly accumulating a set of T4 armor for Taurel for when he hits 30 buying pieces with Tuil as they come on the market cheaply because Tuil has all the money (I vendor everything with Tuil).
I have too many alts...

Shiz: The unearthed settlers and corpse feeders are both in the Dead River Basin. I entered from Thundermist Village (head south from the village). There are some wandering undead that are green at 28. I was forced to flee battle once when I was attacked by three of them.

I've adopted my fair share of dogs from the Humane Society (I never buy 'em when there are so many that need homes, and I like mutts/casts offs) and they almost alwasy have kennel cough. It's almost impossible to avoid it.
The mircochipping is a good deal. Tags are damned near impossible to keep on them sometimes. :lowlol:

Friday: In the afternoon we went out and got new closers for the screen door, then she decided to go to best buy and pick up a new TV :o Then we had the fun of trying to get it into the house, which wasn't helped by the fact that the cart we have apparently the tires died on it, oops. Over the next few hours (she had to do an online class thing) I managed to work it into the house, then we got it onto the center. Oi, my back hurts :!
Saturday: watched TV in the morning, did EQ in the evening. Cregan and I found a couple pickups and I managed to finish the Lightstone quest. He'd finished his the night before. We're rolling now, man! :o
Sunday: Worked Saxen's provisioning up. dd a couple 14 recipes that were new, then from 40% in 14 to 20% in 15 I did refining. Refining tea leaves. Refining Thyme. Refining vanilla. Refine Refine Refine. Oi. Vey. Then I logged in Knemo and went around trying to finish up/advance quests. Advanced with Dragoon K'Naee, yay need patchwork men. Advanced Hadden's Earring, need to go swimming in Nek. Advanced Shiny Black Rock or whatever. That was fun :o Did it without EB, no less :)
Turns out, if you're in sneak, nothing aggroes. Then you can get down, harvest it and punch escape to the docks :) Only went down half life :o

Played some more Gran Turismo 4. Picked up a '99 Nissan Skyline for cheap and tuned the crap out of it. It's now deeply rumbling with about 900hp. It can beat the Nike One and the Triathalon(?) on the power and speed tracks. :lowcool:
Finished the beginners course and moved on to the professional circuit. The Tuning Championship is a blast. The Classic Car track was a pain. I was using a fully tuned Gemini(?) and was still getting smoked by an AC Car. Sold the Gemini and bought a '62 Buick Special, which totally owned the course.
Tried the Skyline on the dirt track but have trouble controlling the throttle. Reworked the transmission, but the car is still too powerfull. Gonna have to build another car for dirt and snow racing.
Since it was so nice outside yesterday, we set up a portable pool for Jordan in the back yard. Unfortunately, it was late in the day when we started and the water never warmed up. The water was freaking cold, although Jordan took great pleasure in spraying me with the hose.

Kennel Cough is easily treatable, and you can get them cheaply immunized against it (Bordetello is the immunization name) annually to protect them if they spend any amount of time around other dogs. Congrats on the new family member!
Friday - Merchant only, watched SG:1, SG:A season finales (part 1 for both) and BSG while flipping to NCAA games during commercials. Won a $50 gift certificate to a nice place here in town while attending an NCAA party thrown by a vendor in the afternoon. Free food, free beer, lots of big screens showing the games (it was at the 4192 Club in Great American Ballpark) and even a blackjack tournament. Sometimes my job isn't so bad...
Saturday afternoon played briefly soloing in TS and completing several writs and quests and dinging 25 Mystic in the process. Saturday night I watched the game between my school (Cincinnati) and the University of Kentucky. It was a game for 35 minutes, with UC even leading at the half, but in typical Bob Huggins fashion they had no end game plan other than run and gun, and when the shots didn't land, UK was talented enough to convert rebounds into points and put my team away by 9 points in the end. It was a well coached effort by Tubby Smith and those 7 foot plus monsters UK has inside really hurt the Bearcats in the paint.
Sunday was more misc. questing, thanks to Murgos and Gratzyn for the assist late Sunday afternoon in getting the kills I needed to finish AQ3. The boots were a minor upgrade, so I was thrilled with the reward. I'm now going to need CoB for both writs and AQ4, so I'm LFG in CoB this week. Watched more NCAA games off and on Sunday as well, thanks to Wake Forest (sat), Oklahoma (sat), and UConn (sun) a couple of my brackets are now busted, but I do have one with a Final Four and most of the Elite Eight still intact, I need Louisville to get to the Final Four on it, so ASH, you and Kris turn the good vibes up a notch down there will ya?!

Managed to play a little bit this weekend in between studying for tests and working on my seminar. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, played Wilkin quite a bit and managed to get him to level 19 and finish the Path of the Troubadour quest. On Sunday, logged onto Wilkin for the first time in two weeks to go to Stormhold with Xuthia (I was in Nebraska the first week; she was in Greece the second). After a bad start we got rolling pretty well killing leeches and sentries. Wound up about 70% of the way through 20. Won't be able to play until next Sunday, but should get 20 then. Typpin will finally be a ranger.
Watched the new episodes of Deadwood and Carnivale last night, as well as watching the Sci-Fi Friday stuff. All good.

Did not really play much over the weekend. Mostly vendorbotted while I cleaned house. It desperately needed cleaning and is not finished yet! But I got a large chunk of the living room straightened up, and fixed some of the wiring "issues" people have complained about.
I did play for a little while on Sunday evening. I was plannning to just harvest some ?'s to sell and bumped into slainte and Gratz in SH. Helped them finish off some various quests including floor pizza's and the chests in the library. Was not a long time but was a lot of fun.
I plan to play tonight! See ya there!

Played some WoW this weekend. Since Serrano was not around, I played my alt Hunter on Cenarilion Circle. I got him from 18 to 20. I ended up in a new area, Ashenvale. Lots of fun killing stuff! :D Hunters kick butt! I did get a new spell which had a 30% run speed boost, which is very nice. Also, a friend of mine gave me an enduring breath potion which made it much easier to finish up a quest where I had to go into 2 sunken ships and get some chests. I have one more quest to finish in my old area, but I am hoping to finish that one with some help when I get on next. Also, I got a nice pants upgrade at a good price from someone who was peddling their armor. It was a good weekend.

The weekend was a catchup time for Draeken. I finally got Blood Talon Friday night finally completing that one and Saturday I camped for Tarby in TS for about 30 minutes and he finally popped but after speaking to him the wolves did go for him but before I could target the wolves another guild stole the wolves from me preventing me from completing this quest. Before Tarby popped Patsien came to me needing the breath to go to the beach to go to the sunken wreak but after I changed Instances to go back to Tarby I mistakenly canceled Patsien's breathing so I had to go back to him to replentish it. After going back to Tarby another group had him camped and they allowed me to join to finish Tarby. After finishing Tarby I went back to Absid to finish the quest. When I went to see Absid Patsien needed help in killing Bandished so I help him defeat him. While over near Tarby I finally saw where the Tree within a Tree is located so I finished that one too. Sunday I finally got Draeken's trapping over 90 and I am almost to 90 in his harvesting. He's currently sitting at 83 on harvesting. I also went back to Zek and did the miners solo finishing another writ but I died a couple times trying to get back to the mine. Sunday night Crim, Kullen and Shadowgates helped me complete SBH which is a Hertiage quests and BOOSTING my patron status above 3000. Thanks again guys. The spear that is given for completing the SBH is worth 20 Gold if you sell it to a vendor. Well I am planning to play tonight and hope to put another Hertiage group together to help to boost the guild over lvl 13 tonight.

Friday night, went out to eat at a casino buffet (pretty good one; Ameristar's), and almost didn't eat too much, as opposed to everyone else who went with me, who did. :lowlol:
Sat, spent the morning with my nephew at his Easter egg hunt and his chance to sit on the Bunny's lap. He had fun and was quite cute, so it was a good time.
Sat afternoon, participated in my auction draft for fantasy baseball. We had 4 of the 11 participate online, 1 no-show, and the rest were at the commissioner's house. Due to the online popularity, things took quite a bit longer to do than they should've. Ah well, was still fun.
I am overall satisfied with my team, but failed in one large aspect - I spent $249 of the draft-day-only $280 cap. So I could've had better earlier. This is my third year doing auction baseball, and the third time I've done this. Hopefully the last. My team looks like this:
C - Johnny Estrada $3
C - AJ Pierzynski $1
1B - Mark Texeira $14
2B - Marcus Giles $10
SS - Carlos Guillen $13
3B - Melvin Mora $10
MI - Kaz Matsui $8
CI - David Wright $16
OF - Garrett Anderson $20
OF - Chone Figgins $16
OF - Ryan Klesko $1
OF - Trot Nixon $1
OF - Shannon Stewart $1
Utility - Lyle Overbay $9
Utility - Richie Sexson $6
SP - Jeremy Bonderman $15
SP - AJ Burnett $10
MR - Tom Gordon $2
Closer - Dan Kolb $3
Closer - Brad Lidge $10
SP - Brad Penny $10
Closer - Francisco Rodriguez (K-Rod) $10
SP - Johan Santana $13
SP - John Thomson $1
SP - Javier Vasquez $8
Bench:
2B/3B - Michael Cuddyer $10
OF - Lance Berkman $17
C/1B - Jason Phillips $1
SP - Wade Miller $3
SP - Jake Westbrook $7
My problem was that it was essentially the equilavent of round 22+ before I took my first outfielder, which is why I overpaid for Anderson. (He's likely, in our league, worth mid-teens.) Also some of the prices, for those who know the players, are lower than they would go for, b/c I kept them from last year (Sexson, Burnett, Santana, Texeira, Lidge, K-Rod, Kolb...)
We are a 6x6 league, which means we do Batting Avg, HR, R, RBI, SB, and OBP for offense, and ERA, WHIP (Walks + Hits per Inning Pitched), Strikeouts, Wins, Saves, and BAA (Batting average against, or opponents batting avg). I'm happy about my prospects for the offensive categories, except for HR. On the one hand, I have a couple possible HR title contenders for the next couple years in Texeira and Sexson, but on the other hand, that's about it... I'm great for strikeouts potential, and ERA and WHIP should be decent.
There were a couple players I wanted that I wasn't aggressive enough to get. (NEED to do better at that part next year... *sigh*) I wanted Aubrey Huff (1B/3B/OF; $21) and Barry Bonds (OF; $35), for instance. Then again, I got many of the players I wanted. I wanted two of the following shortstops: Edgar Renteria BOS, Carlos Guillen DET, Kaz Matsui NYM, Khalil Greene SD, and Angel Berroa KC; got two of the three "best" ones listed. I wanted two of the projected strikeout pitchers, and got just Bonderman, but I already had Burnett and Santana, so it's okay. I had expected to land Akinora Otsuka SD MR for $1, but someone actually had the same idea... So I ran the price on him up to $8, then got Tom Gordon for $2. Still, should kept that spot open for my secret ... Erebiel Durazo, who I could've had for $1 and kept for the next 8 yrs... Ah well. *cry*
Er, anyway... Sunday. :lowlol: Sunday, went to church, then went to a Confirmation ceremony followed by a party with dinner and great desserts! Got to visit my nephew a short while after the party, then went home, inspected the fantasy baseball site, then went to bed, since it was almost midnight.

Did not play anything this weekend, was in Pittsburgh for my g/f's sorority formal. It is her senior year and her last formal, and she wanted it to be a special one. The drive wasn't too bad, about 4.5 hours in total. Pittsburgh is a very confusing city to navigate in, at least to the uninitiated. Missed one turn on the way into the city that cost me 30 minutes or so, but was eventually able to find my way. Weekend went well, a good time was had by all, though I suspect more than a few were debating it come Sunday morning. ;)
Made it home just after 6 last night, which made me happy because the weather was just sucky enough that I wasn't really interested in driving in the dark. Ran into some extremely thick fog between Erie and Buffalo... crazy stuff. Now I gotta wait 6 weeks to see her again... *sigh*
Anyways... 2 pics, just cuz I feel like sharing... one from the formal, one taken while driving home...

Played on Friday night.
2 friends of mine I haven't seen in about a month logged in so I went and grouped with them. they haven't played in awhile so I was mentoring one of them as we fought our way to the chessboard. He leveled to 21 then they left for dinner. Also got a sword of thunder drop! woo hoo! ... course It's ear marked for Char if she still needs it, but I could be one step closer to Ghoulbane. :)
On another note Mentoring kicks ass!
... I think there was something.. oh yeha! Murgos Drea and... someone else. ( I sooo need sleep) we all killed Bloodtalon then Murgos and I met up with Sagar and killed the dwarf's grandfather...agian... So now I think I'm on the last step before he gives me his old set of boots? After that Murgos logged and I went to check on teh rumbler... found him too as he took a bite out of my back side. After that I got a raid together of mostly level 20s. Gratzyn and Zyzz joined and we kicked it's butt! got about 25% xp off that quest plus another related one and a new sword! Gnollslayer.
After that I tried camping the Tactician Captian, but Opalla showed up instead so I logged before he could come back and eat me. (chased off some other guy who ran in without looking first.. :P)
Saturday I played Guildwars. First time I've been abel to log into the game in the 3 months I've had access to the beta. :P I amde a ranger and started runnign around. Style wise it's similar to Lineage II but leveling is very slow if you just go out killing stuff. You ahve to do teh quests you find. (by comparasen it takes 2000 XP to get 2nd Level, I was getting 20-100 XP per kill or 250-500 XP per quest.)
When I was out killing stuff I didn't see any other players, but the town was full of them. Makes me think the Roleplaying areas, as they call them, are instanced for the person/group. the graphics are very ncie and the system is apparently entrancing enoguh for me. I only ment to play for a little bit so I could run some errands before meeting my parents for a late lunch, 2-3 hours later my parents call tellign me they are on their way. :P
That night I made a character for Alexis' new game. 3.5 D&D a high powered low plot kill it and take it's stuff kind of game. The players are each related to/blessed by a deity with a bonus class that is within that deity's doaains. I've made a kobold Samurai/Bard related to Baulder. :) He's probably not going to last very long as he's going to be very annoying and another player's character is related to loki, but I'll ahve fun with him!

Friday: Uhm... stayed after work to install the new PIX. Old one was of a particular run that had been reported to have "hanging" issues (unresponsive on all 6 ports AND console) once traffic got to certain levels. Cisco sent us a shiny new one and I popped the expansion card on the old one and installed it in the new one, applied the config and was up and running....... kinda.
In-Out traffic worked fine, but anything involving the DMZ (SMTP server, two web servers) just wasn't... going... anywhere... Opened a call with Cisco and then miraculously, traffic started flowing after about 45 minutes?!?! SOUNDS like caching had to rebuild but man, that's a LONG time for that... wierd.
Got out of there are 8:30pm.
Saturday: Cleaned the house, upper body workout, laundry, helped in the spring cleanup at our church, etc, etc, etc.
Sunday: Uhm... was really tired in the afternoon and fell asleep for... 3 hours?!?! was worried I'd not be able to get to sleep but had no trouble. I've been sleeping like a log lately. Maybe due to increased physical activity? Dunno...

Finally feel well enough to use my 'puter. I woke up at 4:30am this morning feeling ill. Spent the rest of the day throwing up and trying to recover. Still not 100% and JOy's going into work tomorrow (to give her 2 weeks notice, more on that in a few) so I hope I don't need her like I did today.
Weekend playing was spent on EQ2 and Catan (yeah, I bought it). Draeken was a huge pal helping me finish From Sea to Sea quest (from QH...disappointing). And then he helped me kill Grimash (sp?) and The Banished for CoD access (needed for a couple heritage quests). All I need is the big (31^^) skelly in TS (outside RoV) and I'll have that done, I think.
I also spent a good amount of time doing green TS quests. I'm finally done w/ them all. /pheew. I also got all 10 granite updates for PGT. Now I need to buy a fir (cuz I know I'll never harvest one) and get that made.
Afterwards I was pretty fed up w/ soloing and doing gray crap that I made a new character. Patyric (pronounced: Pa-TEER-ick...combination of Pat and lyric) the scout and future bard was born. Got him up to almost 100% into 6 on IoR. I'll get him to the max % and then leave.
So yeah, Joy got a new job. Right now she's working two jobs - 9-5pm is doc writer/tech support for an e-learning company. 6-9 is massage. She found a massage therapy company that will give her full benefits and pay her both to massage ppl and to do a lil tech support here and there. She's giving her two weeks notice tomorrow. We're all very happy for her.

Bailey Kahlua... Has a nice ring to it. :lowlol:
I have to confess ... Becky and I went to church Sunday afternoon for a confirmation ceremony. During the actual Confirmation portion of the ceremony, when each individual is called up to the ministers to be confirmed, then reads his/her selected Bible verse, became pretty tedious after a handful. (There were about 22 people in the class.) So Becky and I started thinking of baby names for our future daughter. (We already know what our first son is named, and have known for over 2 yrs now. :D) ... (Oh! And, no, there's not going to be a li'l Drax running around in the near (or 9-month) future, so you're safe still... :lowlol: ) Felt kinda bad about it, but there were some very pretty names in the confirmation class, such as Kimberly and Evellyn.

We were struggling for a middle name. Thanks Drax.

I know, I know... if I thought I would have had time, I'd have tried to arrange a visit... however the weekend went really fast. Got into the city around 5:30 Friday night, got checked into the hotel... got cleaned up and went to dinner with the g/f, then met up with one of her sorority sisters and had a few drinks at Sing Sing, which was fun. Back to the hotel and crashed... next day she was busy all day with a sorority function, nail and hair appointments, etc. I slept until almost noon. lol. That was my only real downtime- a few hours Sat afternoon, and I was actually supposed to go hang with some frat boys. I decided to skip that because I wasn't feeling well, and just lounged around the hotel room til about 4. Grabbed a light dinner, got dressed, and headed to Oakland to meet her. Made it back to the hotel a little after midnight... up and checked out by 11:30 Sunday morning, had lunch with her, and hit the road for home.
So while it would have been fun to finally meet a LoW or two, it just wasn't really feasible. :(
