I have an old monitor lying around I'd like to put to good use and expand my working space. I do a lot of stuff where the added screen space will be nice.
I have an old pci nvidia card from way back when that I tried to install and run the second monitor through, but I was having problems getting the drivers to work right with the ati card. The second monitor worked, but I couldn't set the resolution to anything better than 640x480 at 4bit color.
My ati video card only has only one port, but supports multiple monitors. Would a y-splitter work to put two monitors through this card?
