WoW - that freakin' patch last night took forever. 6 hours to load only 60MB! I tried everything...disable McAfee firewall, Windows firewall, add permissions for TCP/IP ports that WoW uses, blah, blah, blah. Anyway, left the computer on overnight and it was done when I got up this a.m.
Kurtosis - human warrior - is in leatherworking specialty, so he's gone "walkabout" to get to Darnassas, and get L150+ leatherworking ability, which I've read is only available at the home of the night elves.

I logged on to short roster and finished up my remaining AQ5 mobs. I then railroaded (again!) Kelli, Murgos and Taurel into helping me with a triggered spawn in Antonica (quest name: Two Wrongs Don't Make a Right.) Irisor the Isane #2 died quickly. We then headed to TS and grabbed Draeken and Gratzyn. We dodged/fought giants to get to the next Irisor trigger point and killed #3. While there, Kelli led us to the fallen giants so I could progress Sir Morgan. We then headed to RoV. Since my Zek access quest is still active, we got ambushed by Gawar again. Then we killed the two familiars for Sir Morgan. Inside RoV, Kelli needed shrillers and Nitz needed 2 more living clays for Zek. Got the clays and some of the shrillers. Gratz and Murgos had to log at this point. We tried to push on to the last Irisor (cellar) and the books for Kelli but we just didn't have the firepower with 4 people.
Kellisanth and I both need to kill Squire Wembly to complete Sir Morgan. I have the Zek boatride to complete which I am really looking forward to. Thanks to my group for letting me drag them around. I had a blast and hope everyone else did too.

DNP
Watched NCIS and Amazing Race then played some Jewel Quest briefly while waiting for cold medication to kick in. I have a miserable stuffy head, sore throat and dry cough sort of cold that is keeping me up at night and making me a zombie during the days. Not good since today I need to upgrade a machine with a lot of cutom software on it and teach a training class after lunch. I just want to go home...
Will likely be on tonight for Writ Wednesday. I need to look and see what CoB or RoV writs are "Easy" to complete in LoW groups.

I played EQ1. Sanmaren participated in an IVD raid against Vallon Zek and Tallon Zek. Both fell, with a minimum of deaths on the guild's part. Sanmaren now needs only Agnarr and Rallos Zek for Elemental Planes access.
By the time I logged on EQ2, everyone else was logging off, so I quietly camped and went to bed early. I plan to be on for Writ Wednesday tonight.

Logged in with Caliely for a while and completed my mage training and am officially a summoner now. She dinged 10 and I switched to Serani.
With Dahren(Rubi)'s help, Serani completed 3 more Freeport Sabotage quests. At 2% per quest, it's nice experience and has REALLY helped me to learn a lot about the Freeport 'burbs. Still lots to do over there, even for Qeynosites, but I've also gotta get back to the Qeynos area soon. I've missed grouping with guildies and I can't remember the last time I fed my cat...
We'll be playing tonight. Dunno WHERE we'll be, though.

Came down with a nasty migraine on Monday evening which kept me at home yesterday. The tail end of the thing was still bad enough that I did not risk playing last night (in fact it is still with me today, which is unusual - although I do get migraines they rarely last more than 24 hours). I doubt if I will play this evening and thursday is parental visit evening so ... have a good easter everyone !

Went out to dinner with my father-in-law who was in the area, then came home and played a bit. Cregan and I went to try finishing off our Grinnin Writs, but can only take out solos (up to 27) and duo's (to 26 i think). 3 25's or even 24's still kick our butts b/c we can't kill one fast enough befoe his friends start healing him. Had one down under 10% health, then suddenly boom! boom! he's at 70+% ... :(
There was a 34 in the area killing them, so we joined with him for the last few to finish our writs, then i decided to log out early for a change

Didn't do a whole lot ... Went back to the airport to pick up my flight bag (since it had my cell phone/ipod-lookalike chargers) ... planned to eat some sushi, but they were closed tuesday, so went to another noodle shop...
Hopped into EQ2, helped Nitz out with his quests... I haven't started on AQ5 or AQ6 yet... Have yet to turn in AQ4.
The DWB are HUGE when set up in the room. Compared to my elven feet, they look like barbarian sized shoes. I wonder how big the GLS will be...
After a while, went over to SWG to fly around in my TIE to blast some scum into floating bits of floatsam...
Got an itch to find/pick up a few movies (Eurotrip/Up Periscope!) that I partially watched ... Listened to Kodo for a while...
Received flowers from work. Good thing I was home at the time. I'm not good at taking care of flowers though... Eeeep! Um, I should get some cards then...

Tuesday
Well (Shiz) Nitz already covered in detail my evening in the game. I probably couldn't word it better so I will leave it at that.:smile1: After the adventure I went back to TS to harvest the Granite which seems very rare. I still have a few to get. I also was able to finish AQ5 last night. The final piece of AQ5 looking for the sword is kinda tricky. Look for the Veteran Trooper in the river bed and you will find the chipper sword you will need to complete this part. The AQ5 quest is a piece of cake compared to AQ4 from where you have go to CoB. AQ6 although looks to be a challenge. Well its Writ Wednesday and I'm looking forward in doing the writs tonight. Hope tonight will push us over to lvl 13 for the guild.

DNP. Watched The Shield (good show) and played Ramparts, this old Midway game whre you build up your castle and then lob cannonballs at your opponant. Like most games, I owned Kristin for the first three or so times, then she figured out how to play and beat me pretty reguarly after that.

Don't spoil the Shield for me - haven't watched it yet - its on the TiVo. :)
I thought the season opener (last week) got off to a slow start, but then they had a lot of background to catch us up on since so much time had elapsed between end of season 3 and the start of this one.
Shane is headed for the next major antagonist role, clearly. :)

Worked on my project for most of the evening. Logged in for a bit, but after gating back from RoV I sorta figured school > eq2 :~ so I logged off and continued working until around 2am. I really should have learned from college round 1 that I procrastinate too much and there is an easy cure for it.

played quite a bit during the day yesterday, had plenty of time, and will today. had an appalling connection tho, was seeing up to a minute lag spikes at a time and couldn't figure out problem. so i decided it would be a good time to start up my fourth character, which i've been wanting to do.
chesster made 10 bard by the end of the night, taking advantage of every quest he could. was pretty interesting to go so fast. isle experience went very fast. i dunno if they are making newbie quests generate exp faster or if i just know the routine so well now, but chess is has almost all his skills up to date, save for trapping and slashing, which won't take long to advance.
so now i have my 1-of-each-archetype set complete, the better with which to get to know you all, my pretties.

Worked on some stuff at home. Attempted to play WoW. The big patch was being downloaded by everyone. I then tried to play, and there was no way that I was going to get in. I tried about 15 times. Just surfed the net while I was waiting.

Helped my daughter play some more last night. She got her character through the quest to become a bard and has been doing any and all Qeynos quests that she can find. Once she went to be I did some clean-up stuff for her and by the time I was done I was too tired to log Crim on. Put him into vendor mode and watched a couple of episodes of The Shield.

Watched half of The Shield this morning before work. I'll watch the other half after work. :D Love that show.
Played some EQ2 as Patsien. Shadowgates and I duo'ed Zek. We had some issues trying to take any group larger than 2 but when we finally got the hang of it we were rolling. I carry 2 stacks of 99 throwing hammers (my long range ammo). When we finished I had about 70 left. Which means I pulled at least 130 baddies. :lowlol: I got the last 15% or so I needed to ding 34. Then I logged to take a break. Was still pretty tired from being sick on Monday.
Logged back on later as Patyric. He dinged 9 and finished part 1 of the Path of the Scout quest. I'm now on Part 2 - Path of the Bard.
Don't know if I'll be on for writ night today. I've got a good amt of stuff to catch up on due to being out on Monday.

Had an interesting night last night. Got home from work around 6:15pm, talked to my mom for 10 min, then received a phone call from Unknown Name, and a phone # I didn't recognize. Turns out to be a cop's cell phone, b/c Becky was involved in a car accident. Becky, for the most part, is okay. She sufferred worsening headaches, back and neck sore/stiffness, and her nose looked... altered. So we made a trip to the emergency room a couple hours after I picked her up from the cop. Catscans of her head, neck, and back were negative, and we're still awaiting word on the nose x-ray, but we think the bone maintained its integrity; instead we this the cartilage in the nose disconnected from the bone. She's sore all over, and right now is asleep in the living room after having taken her medication two hours ago, for the first time - vicodin (pain killer) and flexitril (muscle relaxant).
Given how the car looks, it's amazing and a true blessing that she survived without more serious ailments. The front bumper (she rear-ended another car) maintained its integrity, tho' it was shifted by about 2-3 inches. But the engine compartment, hood and everything underneath it, was crushed. The closest thing to an accordian I've ever seen in car-form... The battery looked similar to a crushed soda can. During the drive into pick her up, I was naturally concerned and worried. But I had no inclination to cry until I saw the car and thought about the could've'beens... Very scary stuff.
Since we didn't get to the emergency room until ~10:15pm and didn't leave the hospital until closer to 4:30am, we didn't do much of much last night.
Stayed home from work today to make sure she was taken care of and could handle the medicine. Have no clue what I'm doing tomorrow, but as much as I need to go into work, I'd really like to stay home with her another day. Just stinks that, if this had to have happened anyway, it couldn't have waited until next week, when the weekend wouldn't have been so busy. *shrug* :~ ;)

Ick, Drax!
Glad that all is well overall... Having such calls at late night is never fun (knows that from several calls) ...
Can't you call in sick, to stay an extra day? Or call for some time off w/o pay?

Thanks, all.
I took Wed off completely, and stuck around today long enough to make sure she could handle for herself things like preparing lunch and walking about. Seems she can. We also tried her taking only half a vicodin, since a full one zaps her so completely. Looked like our idea was working before I left home. Talking to her once I almost got to work, tho', seems it's having a similar effect - she's out like a light. At least she's sleeping through the pain and discomfort and not having it really affect her.
Took the plates off the car today, so it's likely the last time we'll see it (aside from the pictures we had a friend take of it, for our records).

Having been on the receiving end of one of those phone calls for Joy, I sympathize, Drax. Take care of her. She's in our thoughts too.
