Had a decent weekend. Friday night, worked a little longer than planned, then got to spend most of the evening with my nephew and an awake wife. :) Becky took only Advil during the day (1-4 x 200mg, per doc's orders), and stayed awake for the vast majority of it. My mom even came over to stay for the midday with Becky, eating cheese pizza (no meat on Good Friday) and watching What Dreams May Come.
Sat, I worked for 5hrs to help make up for missing last Wed. Sucks, tho', since I stayed an extra 1.5hrs, then come in this morning to find I didn't press "Run" on the reactor, thereby wasting the extra time I stayed. Ugh. Anyway, went home, got ready, then went to Becky's mom's for their Easter family get-together. Was a blast! Great food, lots of fun, plus some hilarious karaoke.
Sun, went to church, then went to my side's Easter dinner. Great food, good time. Spent the evening with Becky's family, watching some tv (watched the first part of The Greatest Story Ever Told, which I had never before seen, I think. Need to rent it to finish watching). Went home, played a couple games of Literati (lost first game slightly, won second game slightly, lost third game baaaaad (by like 100+pts; ew)).

Friday
Patsien and I worked on D'Morte up to the part you enter the cave behind the falls in Nek. Sunday we tried to go further into the cave but the groups of mobs made it difficult and Crim helped for alittle while but Patsien had to log.
Saturday was a slow day on the guild and Draeken spent most of the day as a vendor where we made 17 gold in sales. I also worked on the quests Friday night where you have to kill 25 skindancers in an hour but I had a problem. I accidentally started the timer and no one in the group to help me so I immediately logged Draeken out to stop the timer. Saturday morning I was able to talk Crim into helping me and we found out that we were in different instances of TS and the timer was ticking and about the same a Level 40 player asked me if I needed help. I had already killed 3 of the skindancers myself but I had only 35 minutes to complete. The level 40 character and myself was able to knock out these guys with 15 minutes left to spare on the clock. This went very quick with such a high level character helping so this brings me up to fight and form a raid against Octgorgon. Later Saturday while things were slow I grabbed a writ and went to the mines of Zek to improve on my patron status and by completing it caused us to ding level 13 for the guild.
Sunday was also a quiet day on the game and I vendered awhile collecting 5 more gold and later Shadowgates, Kullen, Crim and I went back to D'Morte to get Shadowgates through that part of the quest and things were rocking and we were moving quickly through it and we were able to open the coffin and then the server crashed. After waiting about 30 minutes for the server to finally come back up and I waiting for alittle while at the entrance to D'morte I realised our party called it a night. I plan on playing tonight and if there is a chance we can get a group together I have a couple hertiage quests that need to get completed.

Friday: Played some WoW with Serrano. We went to do the Van Cleef quest. Got a good group together with a (25) Warlock, (25) Warrior, and (20) Rogue. We kicked butt. The only death was me. I wasn't watching my health well enough, and ended up dying while healing the others. :D Overall, it was fairly easy with the group we had. They rarely needed much healing, and even the tough fights were reasonable to handle. Finished up the night really late, 2 AM if I remember right. But since we had an easy Saturday, it worked out ok.
Saturday: Took the kids (Rebecca, Clarissa, and Ben) to see Robots. It was a decent movie. I only feel asleep at one part for about a min or two (late nights don't help in dark theatres). I didn't miss anything in the plot. It was a chase scene. We then went to the mall for a quick snack. Went home, and our next door neighbors set up a little Easter Egg Hunt for our kids. The kids had a blast. Poor Mikayla kept falling down and inevitably one of her eggs with M&Ms in it would hit the mud.
Sunday: The kids opened their baskets in the morning. They were very excited. They each got a movie. Went to church, came home, watched the Hulk (Ben's movie). I fixed the pellet stove with the part that I got this past week. After that, I went down to play on the PS2 with Ben. He had fun for a while then he left. I played for a while until Clarissa came down. We both played Jak and Daxter. Dinner was great, ham, mashed potatoes and BBQed green beans. Yum! I went to bed early after getting the kids to bed because I just felt really tired. Although, I woke up around 4:30 this morning. I forced myself to stay in bed until I had to get up. :D

Played off and on. Spent some time in SH both solo and helping LoWs with various quests. Finally got Dyana and started on the defiled priests. Entered ToV with 2 other tanks just to poke around, but obviously we were not sufficient to accomplish much of anything. Did some more DWB gathering and discovered that there are some T2 resources that sell well at 50c-75c, raw wheat specifically which come from the bushes.
Sunday night deserves its own paragraph. I joined a pickup group with Taurel in it. We were killing griffons. We got agged by a cent, so I just sucked it up and went KOS. Then Ott spawned and we took him at my request so I am now on the path to AQ6 which seems easily soloable other than Ott. Then we lost some people and we got into trouble so an evac put us on the docks. We picked up Slainte since Taurel was logging and started Zek for Slainte one of the group members. I then dragged everyone to the riverbed for some exp and dinged 27 for me and the other bezerker. Some higher levels were shouting about doing the Zek boatride so I bowed out of the group and got an invite for that. However, someone still needed the RoV kills so we went to RoV and spent about an hour doing that for fabulous exp. Went back to the docks and spent 15 minutes trying to fill the 6th spot, successfulyl finally. So, a 31 guardian, 29 guardian, 29 dirge, 26 inquisitor, 26 monk and Nitz defeated the boat ride and arrived in Zek. Last fight took a bit of time, but it was never in doubt.
Recalled back to Willow Wood to vendor and the servers crashed. If that had happened 10 minutes sooner, I would have been really upset.

BBQed green beans.
?? Sounds delish. Just, um, bbq sauce and the green beans? Any bacon or cheese or anything else? May have to give this a shot tonight...

Draeken, told most of my EQ2 time other than for some reason I wasn't able to open the coffin before the servers crashed so I think I will have to redo that whole part! :( I must have gotten back on right after Draeken left. I stood there a few minutes and then ported home. Other than that it was a busy Easter weekend with a bit of SR thrown in.

Friday - DNP Watched season finale of SG:1 and SG:Atlantis. Both were very short "seasons", which I'm not pleased about, and SG:1 in particular seemed rather pointless. I didn't like that the whole finale of SG:1 was used as a vehicle to provide a plot twist for the finale of SG:Atlantis. Both shows will undergo major changes when they reappear in July, not sure how I feel about that yet.
SAT/SUN - played off and on for little 1 hour stretches. During these I managed to accomplish quite a bit including finishing AQ4, knocking out parts of several access quests and finishing several minor quests, and tacking on 40% xp to finally ding 26th Mystic last night at the end of my session. Oddly enough, the majority of my time grouped was spent over different sessions with Nitz, Serani and Rubi, three folks I don't get to play with very often, so that made it all the better.
Watched all the great NCAA games this weekend. Was thrilled to see Louisville come back and win, relieved to see Illinois do the same, needed UNC to pull it out at the end like they did, and was going nuts when Michigan State upset Kentucky as that knocked most of my competition out of the office pool (and I just like seeing Kentucky lose). It's looking like I am in the running for some money in the pool here, with 3 out of 4 Final Four teams and Illinois and UNC in the final game.

RL - on baby watch now, with some minor contractions maybe starting last night. On Friday, went into NYC with my wife, and had tea at the Plaza Hotel. Then walked around a bit on 5th Ave before heading home.
WoW - dinged L29 warrior, worked on leatherworking a bit (up to skill 175 now). Then decided to finally start my armor quest. Cruised through the first three parts, although I had to wander all over Kalimdor to do them. But was flummoxed by the final leg of the quest - Finrazor Khoul or something like that is an instance in the southern Barrens, and it's loaded with L26 Elite baddies. Somewhere in the bowels of that instance is a boss that I need to find, and it's gonna be a while before I can solo that. Maybe I can get a group together for this...

Friday - DNP Some friends of mine from Dallas came into town for the easter weekend. The first night we went out for some Texas BBQ but I ended up having fish, it being good friday and all. Went back to my place and opened up my 20th anniversary Trival Pursuit and got my butt kicked while we watched Sci-Fi.
Saturday - It looked like it might rain but we decided to head to the Kemah Boardwalk and then down to Galvaston. Had a great time at the beach. By mid afternoon the clouds had cleared and no rain so it was a perfect day. They had to head back early Sunday so we ended up at my place watching Army of Darkness and heading to bed.
Sunday - Spent most of the morning relaxing, then went out for a nice Easter dinner. Logged on late and joined a D'morte group till the servers crashed.

I didn't play much this weekend. Zyzzyva spent some time in Stormhold, hoping to kill Lord Benfield. He didn't make an appearance though (have killed nearly 20 PHs so far).

Friday: Good friday service. We stank up the joint on "The Old Rugged Cross". Reinstalled Planetside and started patching.
Saturday: Played some planetside - getting reaquainted with the game. Went and saw Robots with Carol and Mom-in-law.
Sunday: Easter sunday: 2 bell services (much better performance), and then easter/birthday dinners for M-I-L and I at our house. How it ended up that I cooked my own birthday dinner I don't quite get, but the rib roast came out quite well. :)
Planetside - been hankerin for some good old fashioned explosions, and since I have the station account, I reinstalled Planetside and purchased the digital download expansion. I'd forgotten how fun PS can be, although I'm remembering how often I died... But for just blowing stuff up it's a good game. :)

Friday - Checked out appartment number 4, told my boss he was full of #$%^... came home and played my warrior for a bit (felt like beatin the crap outta something). Watched some TV, crashed hard.
Saturday - Slept late, went to DM Saturday game.. Attriel killed Drathos and Kieths stand-in character, almost killed himself and Kiir as well.
Sunday - Just mulled around, couldn't concentrate on any one thing longer then 30 minutes it seemed. Took naps on and off all day too, I never take naps... I guess the stress finally caught up to me.

Played a good bit. In no order-
Did the zek, enchanted lands, and feerott sections of the J-Boots heritage quest. Got the boots (which I can't use until 42) and 54,000 status points, along with about 30% experience.
At some point I dinged to 37.
Explorer feerott. Nice, jungle zone.
Crim and I finished up the D'Morte quests, at least as far as getting us into timber falls.

Winduforce detailed what I did on Friday.
Saturday Joy and I hung out. We've finally decided that we feel we're ready to get a dog. So we spent a lot of Saturday looking at www.petfinder.com (http://www.petfinder.com) and we found a couple that we like a lot. Next week when Joy officially quits her two jobs we'll put our application in for them and see how it goes.
Sunday Joy worked while I cleaned and then I went to my parents house for Easter. Had a really good time while watching the US men's soccer team get stomped by Mexico (yeah the score was only 2-1 but they had us beat for the last 70 minutes of the game) and all the great NCAA games on.
Later on Sunday I got on and joined Draeken to try Timber Falls. It's a lil too tough for just the two of us. Crim joined us and we were rocking but soon after Joy came home and she'd had a crap day at work so I logged to spend time w/ her. We watched Desperate Housewives (good episode after the hiatus) and a TiVo'ed Newlyweds. Can't wait for the new Lost on Wednesday!

Just out of curiosity, on what server/empire do you play and under what character name? I happened to see a character named Geraden over the weekend and did a double-take; then said... "nahhhh... couldn't be."

Worked all day saturday, then finished my project (due today). Went out with Neph and one of her maya friends and ran into my old roomate, so chatted him up for a while. Sunday I played a whole bunch. Logged from the group with Shiz to watch Oceans 11 with Neph... good movie. Couldn't sleep after that so logged back in and soloed zek until I dinged 30. I can now wear all the armor I've been saving in my bank. I look pretty spiffy now... too bad I have to run around as a lion all the time.

Did not play any games this weekend... Did make sure all games were patched up to the current version(s) (SWG, PS, EQ, EQ2) ...
Watched BSG/SG1 Friday ...
Mostly working on cleaning up the apartment, listening to Sarah Brightman, Yuki Kajiura, Ana Barbara, Azucena, Nydia Rojas and others in the background...
Paper shredder gets jammed up a lot... (does one shred all those credit card applications in the mail or just tear in half and throw away?) I have a lot of mail piling up...
Watching DVDs on the 27" is a lot different from the 7" portable... Not to mentional listening to real 5.1 THX sound instead of from the 2 speakers of the portable... Makes a total difference...
More or less, just moping around... My poor feet hurt from standing a lot at work... Maybe I got so used to sitting around too much the past 5 years... :)

Managed to play a little bit this weekend in between work and studying. Wilkin dinged 20 Saturday morning and officially became a Troubador. Spent some money and got him some decent armor finally as well.
Watched the Sci-Fi Friday stuff Saturday morning. Not bad, though I'm a little creeped out by Starbuck calling out Apollo's name during sex. Also watched the new episode of Deadwood and the season finale of Carnivale last night. Both were excellent.

I only shred them when they contain personal information, or if it looks like they'll send it without a full application being submitted. I also shred those little discover checks that they like to send me. For goodness sake, they have the account numbers at the bottom. They know that I'll throw them away!

I've been getting those credit card checks (from Capital One) as well. They encourage me to use them to transfer balances from higher interest cards - I'm smart enough to read the fine print (3% charge for using it).
A few more things of note I didn't list in my original psot:
--- I bought a better breastplate - and thus have no interest in doing AQ6. I bet every centaur in TS is relieved at that.
--- I played some poker over the weekend - won $75 playing 2-4 Hold 'Em at a local casino.
--- Tonight is an IVD raid night, so I probably won't be in EQ2.

was around a lot but managed to miss most of anything goin on. so weird to be one of the higher levels in the guild but be missing so much in terms of access/heritage stuff.
tried to hook up with ser and rubi a couple times, but crashes and dinner bells had a habit of breaking up groups. finished 4 of the catalogue quests, but all i got was a silly t-shirt for the apartment (book).
should be around this week a bit.

Didn't play EQ2 spent most of the weekend at the parents
Friday however, I went shopping and picked up City of Heros. After watching The Incredables I got into a super hero mood and couldn't resist. (Damn you Mr. Incredable!) Played around with it and got my mutant brawler with dark powers up to level 4.
after that I read a bunch of my book. It's gotten very interesting and I can't wait to read mroe, but will be playing EQ2 tonigh...after I make my Super on the right server. :P
