Ok, so what did others think of these three (two session finals)? I kind of though SG-1 one was kind of choppy and ended VERY abbruptly! I was hoping for a bit more than that. Atlantis is a cliffhanger but other than that was fairly good. BSG was the best of the three, IMO, and I will be interested to see where they leave it after next episode. Guessing Starbuck will end up getting the arrow and unlocking the info on Earth. I am also not 100% that this isn't really what the Cylons want as well.

Since I haven't watched SG1 in a long while... I wasn't sure what was going on really...

As for BSG, it seemed interesting... esp the first 5 min (Whoa!) and with Kara going after the arrow (uh, how big is it?) ... Since it is an artifact/religious item, it shouldn't be hard to find... Need to see how she gets past the sentries, and what if she runs into the survivors (or the lost Helo/Sharon?). And how she will view Adama (both) in the future...

Sharon is another I am wondering how she will turn out... And I do feel sorry for her... And Helo is probably confused as well...

Think Gaius was probably rethinking of leaving the Galactica when the Raptor got smacked ... He sure panicks a lot... And no Six to comfort him... Why wasn't he safe on the Galactica? (I didn't think I missed anything did I when they were talking?)

No, I am guessing the Galactica comment will play out next week. Whether Sharon is the main cylon player in this or not. So do we all agree that Gaius is basically a hoste to either a Cylon parisite or nanites? I am kind of thinking parisite as it seems to have it's own personality.

I hope they push the first season out to DVD soon...

As for Gaius... I'm thinking Parasite as well... A nanite cannot do anything by itself I think, being more like a group consiousness type.

As to parasite, that depends on whether it is a mental implantation or a physical manifestation that is not detected or really noticed (like, tapeworm, or some other such critter... Maybe like the SG1 parasite, or even the Hidden with the slug)

(I dont remember if he took the cylon test himself...)

SG1 - Bad. Bad bad bad. Shame on them.

Atlantis - It seemed like a "filler" episdode so they could extend things a bit to end it in a cliffhanger. Not great.

I'm still enjoying Battlestar Galactica. Though, I did miss the episode where Baltar was elected VP, so I'm a little confused.

I was also deeply disappointed in the Alien Apocolypse movie starring Bruce Campbell. I was expecting something with a good bit of tongue in cheek humor, but all I got was two hours of boredom.

Agreed, I was expecting alot more from this! I was expecting Army of Darkness meets Starship Troopers! :( Not even close! To make matters worse I stayed up until 2am watch this garbage! I should have taped it and gone to bed...

OK, I'm not going to mince words, the SG:1 finale simply blew chunks, big ones.

First of all, does anyone else seem to remember that the time machine enabled puddle jumper was a one of a kind thing from the episode of SG:ATL when Weir used it to go back and talk to the ancients? So how the heck did another one end up in our galaxy for the SG:1 crew to discover (twice) on that planet they dumped the annoying guy on?

Setting aside the huge plot holes, the whole time travel and change the future thing was just beyond hokey. It was WORSE than any bad Star Trek episode ever made, mostly because the writers should have known better. I felt like a total dork watching the two SG:1 episodes, like I should have been sporting my Spock ears and Starfleet uniform while watching.

The worst part is that these were likely the last episodes to feature the full cast. When the new season starts in July they are changing the cast to include several new people and will be phasing out O'Neil and Carter. Not a fitting send off if you ask me.

Atlantis was much better, though I was dissapointed that the SG:1 finale had to be a tie in to help save the day on Atlantis. Still, the battle scenes were cool, though I have to wonder at this point just how many jarheads have Top Secret Military Clearance that they can send a whole platoon through the Stargate to Atlantis? I guess it's the same with Prometheus (and now Daedelus) as they have large crews of Air Force people manning them. How they are managing to keep all this flying around in spaceships and travelling through wormholes while fighting off aliens a secret is beyond me.

BSG was the highlight of the three. I'm very curious to see how it plays out. I think Starbuck will defintely rescue Helo while getting the arrow, and that will expose Boomer as a cylon. I also think Baltar has got some sort of chip or something implanted deep in his brain, otherwise how to explain the hallucinations and communications? I think his mind is fighting back though, as he seemed to be standing up to her the last couple of episodes. I don't wonder if she sent him off Galactica to get him killed.

The cylons are defintely playing the humans along in an effort to get them to unlock the information about Earth. There must be something they cannot do themselves that they're waiting to happen, most likely whatever the arrow does to reveal the information about Earth. I think they are simply trying to insure they can destroy ALL humans, as it sure seems like they could have taken out Galactica and the fleet a long time ago if they wanted to.

BSG: Rocks. I'm thinking that Baltar has some kind of implant. And you know that Starbuck is going to rescue Helo, and then Sharon's secret is out (there are at least three of her?!?!?! But she was tested with the super-duper Cylon screener!!!) which mean's Baltar's "everyone passes the Cylon screen" policy is blown. I find myself waiting for the new episodes, which is what the producers want in a TV show, right?

As an aside: The Shield, Deadwood, and Carnivale are the other shows that I wait for. All are on cable. What does this say about the state of the major networks? Discuss amongst yourselves.

Alien Apocalypse: ew. I feel a little unclean. And it wasn't even fun.

SG1 jumped the shark so long ago that I'm just watching out of inertia. The writing is so tired these days.

Atlantis was okay as a filler episode. As Drak said, it was a way to fill up the hour to get to the cliffhanger. I was a little disappointed in the rather cheap cliffhanger (Who's going to be alive and who will be dead? Tune in next time to find out!)
