Well, last week CN ran Vol 2 of the Micro series Clone Wars (or as I call it Star Wars Ep 2.5). Great animation and moveing of the story. Also in this medium you can see alot more of what the Jedi Masters are capable of (Mace and Yoda kick much butt.)
The series also intraduces a major villian that will be in the Ep 3 movie. General Grievious, who I think may be a cyborg for sorts, but whos droid body gives most jedi a run for their money (is able to use 3+ light sabres at once)
If chapter 25 is any indicater, the opening of the movie should be big.

I tape them all when they did them on Saturday night and have watched 1hour of it so far and was impressed by the story... hope the movie is as good. Will watch last half hour tonight.

I liked the series pretty much... Of course, I watched them online thru the Star Wars Insider archives... Didn't see them on TV... :(
The Big G is very nasty overall... Has a thing of collecting lightsabers. :)

Yep, heh its what I think I like the most about him, his perchant for collecting trophys.

I've caught a couple episodes of this, but am never sure when it is on... but was wondering- are these toons correct as far as SW canon?

So are all the episodes of this (both volumes) available somewhere for replay over the internet? I missed most of the first series and have only seen a couple of this new one.

As to being Canon, yeah, I would presume them to be Canon... They are, in a sense, a filler between Eps 2 and Eps 3...
As for seeing them on the Internet, I watched 25 episodes the other night (er, should say, spread out over a couple of nights, thus no EQ2 for me this past weekend) from the Star Wars Insider site... You have to be a member to view them...
Or, get the DVDs...
They're streamed, thus can't save them to share I think... I can't seem to find the Quicktime files in my directories, unless my cache is too small...
Try here to see the trailers and such as well...

You have to be a member of Hyperspace to see the large ... I haven't seen the small ones, thus not sure how it looks... Even then, the large isn't that large... I think the "large" is about the same size as the edit post box for the messages in the forum... will have to try again and see to compare...
small is 320x163 and the larger 480x244...
In the SW:CW series... Shaak Ti is an interesting character... As well as the blue Twil (forgot her name now) ... Hrmm.

i don't think they are exactly. the thing that has me scratching my head is that anakin is made a jedi knight. if you watch episode III trailer however, you see a major point of contention for anakin with the jedis is that they won't make him a knight. he even says it in the clip.
however, chapter 25 of the mini series does seem to set up the movie perfectly, i know that the beginning of episode III starts with a "huge space fight", they have been touting that for ever - the assault on corscant seems the perfect setting for what is being described as the biggest space battle ever seen in a star wars film.
anyway i saw 1-20 in a single sitting once when cartoon network played them, as well as caught the final 5 chapters, and i agree they are a pretty cool way to check into the story in between II & III, which lets face it is one of the most interesting parts of the whole tale. ever since the late 70s when i first saw episode 4 in the theatres I've always wondered what on earth the Clone Wars really could be.

Which clip?
Watching the second trailer, he (Anakin) said that the Council didn't trust him. He's on the council, but not granted the rank of Master (which I presume to be higher than Knight) ...

Actually, in the trailer it says that they won't make him a Jedi Master. Pretty sure he's supposed to have been a Jedi Knight for some time when Episode III starts.

Thanks to Walmart shipping pre-ordered audio books too soon, the informational beast that is the internet, and my weak will towards all things titled star wars and/or spoilers I basically know the entire plot, large sections of important dialog, and *gah!* the ending. Sure, the book differs from the movie a bit, but not to the point where I really won't know whats coming. Once I started reading.. I just couldn't stop. :|

Bah, even if you know the ending, you know you still wanna watch the movie.
I know I do...
I liked how the Clone Trooper armour has evolved and changed... Ergnomically speaking, the original armour looked uncomfortable... And not very pleasent to wear about too long, and not good for sitting...
Of course, they are about as useful as the Red Shirts from ST:TOS ... in regards to protection...
For a product, you'd think they would do more to to ensure their safety to be more productive and useful, to cut down on costs...

Oh, of course! I'll probably see it a couple times. heh.
If George pulls off anything close to what I've read, this ones gonna' rock.

These should still work if anyone wants to view episodes 21 through 25. Aye, 25 sets the opening for RotS up nicely.
