Since the forum for it is gone and I didn't find anything via search, can anyone whose played tell me what it costs/month? Disney's site wasn't exactly a font of information either. My nephew(13) is asking about it, seems he got scammed in his current free online game (Runescape) and is hoping to find a new option.

Toontown was (I think) $9.95 a month with no cost for the game itself. The game is a free download.

Lots of fun, too. I've been thinking about getting back into it again as we've had an active account (that we're not paying for).

Toontown is fun. But if he is an avid player, he could find the end game boring. I did. Plus, they don't expand it often enough either.

He would only have access when he visits my folks (his guardian won't allow him online access at home). But when he is there, I think avid might be an understatement regarding his computer time. :lowlol:

Well, then it might last him a little longer then, just a little.

It's still a fun game. I would recommend it.

I think they have subscription cards that might be an option as well. I don't know if it is a purchase of minutes or a purchase of months, but if his play time will not be in his home, it might be more appropriate. Ed Bear and I still play on occasion. :smile1:

Atty and I still play as well and we both have 14 day trial passes if he wants one to try it out with. That way he has a few days to see if he likes it or not.

Thanks for the info, all. I haven't heard from him since Monday so I'm guessing he's back home after spending the Easter weekend with my folks (I was expecting him to have the week off). Oh well, it's all future reference I guess at this point.
