Sunday: Didn't do much in the way of exercise, except helped my parents and family spring-clean the cottage. Vacuuming, washing, etc, etc. Was very cold up there!

Sunday: Up at 530am so I could get things together and drive to meet folks for the bike ride. The ride was 95 miles, with about 5000' of climbing. It was also one of the hottest days we've had around here so far. Almost 8 hours ride time, almost 11 hours on the road (translation: there were plenty of nice rest stops). I was totally wiped out last night, but I'm actually feeling quite well this morning. Legs are a bit tired, but not sore.

Grrrrr... another setback with the running thing...

Was doing fine Monday night, 2 minute walk-warmup then about 16 minute run, small 2 minute walk then started running again... about minute-25 into the run (just over 2 miles in) and I'm mega overheating... I feel fine in the lungs, great in the legs but I feel like I'm in an oven. I had to stop, and found the whole experience rather annoying. Next time I'm taking a fan and plopping it down in front of me. Yeah, I know, this wouldn't be a problem outside. It WAS raining though.

Still doing my regular eliptical for 12 minutes and abb, free weights. Monday workouts with the trainer will move to Wed, which will work out better for me. I still have a slight twinge in my right knee so I may have to take a week off from the eliptical to let the tenden heal. I'm usually a sweaty mess after the eliptical as well, but I don't mind too much. I usually shower and get a dry shirt after my workouts anyway.

2/13/2/13 on the treadmill tonight with no overheating. Maybe I just pushed through it, dunno. Felt great, however... total distance was 2.78 miles in 30 mins. When I can hit 3 miles in about that time, I'll be happy.
