Sunday: Day 5 of resistance training routine: upper body/back. It's long, but I made it through. Ironically, my legs are the parts that hurt, from the workout I did Friday... (plus football on Saturday, I think)

Nothing Sunday, other than setting up audio equipment for graduation ceremonies, and the tearing it down afterward.

This morning I got out of bed and then did a 45min ride. I'm driving to work today, so no bike commute this evening.

Side note regarding my cycling: I've been using Bikejournal.com to log my rides, finally got a public viewable link to my journal. Take a look at June and you can see the AIDS Ride, and then the couple weeks off to recover.

Monday, did 60 minutes on the elliptical machine and then 30 minutes on the recumbant bike.

Tuesday, actually took the day off. Had to go into work early; we were busy and was tired as heck by the time I got off.

Today, started off with 40 minutes on the elliptical machine and then did my upper body workout.

Wed: I started meeting my trainer at a new location. The fly machine there is free hanging, meaning that you can move it up and down, but the goal is to make a straight fly. I've never felt a fly that worked my chest as much as that did. just trying to keep the fly straight took alot of effort.

Five more miles. We're supposed to get a break in the heat tomorrow, so hopefully it'll be more pleasant. I need to be more consistent about doing sit-ups and push-ups, too. :(

A much better day for a run here in Michigan today. 70 degrees with a stiff breeze and only moderate humidity. Much better than the last week of high 80s/low 90s with little breeze and humidity over 80%.

Five miles. I wish my lunch hour were a bit longer sometimes.
