Sunday: Upper body workout. Was going to play some tennis, but the weather didn't cooperate.

Sunday: 45 mile bike ride. Had fun getting on the road with 20 other cyclists.Took it easy first half, then pushed hard coming home. The group had stopped at a local burger joint afterwards; I had just watched Supersize Me the night before. Couldn't bring myself to eat there when I knew that I had good (and already paid for) sandwich material at home.

Five miles yesterday. Sadly, the oppressive heat has returned to Michigan.
I weighed in yesterday, just to see. At 142, I'm a bit lighter than when I graduated from college but still about 10 pounds heavier than I used to race at. Since 80-100 mile weeks are long (long, LONG) behind me, I doubt I'll ever get back there. :lowrazz:

Monday: 35 mins @ 5.2mph on the treadmill. Weighed in at 160lbs; my first time weighing myself in about 3 weeks, and I'm losing about half a pound a week, I think. I'm not TRYING to lose anymore, I just hope it's fat that's going... heh. I can't remember the last time I was 160 lbs... I might have been... 19? That's approximately 37lbs in 6 months, too.

Monday: Nothing. Drove to work, drove to lunch, worked late and drove home, flopped on couch and then bed. Yeah, nothing.

Five miles again yesterday. Not quite as humid, and a bit stronger of a breeze, so not as unpleasant as Monday.

No exercise for me the last few days. I had a rather...unpleasant...doctor's appointment on Monday and I've been recovering from that. :( Aside from that, I've been buried in sewing, working on Jabby's gift and then there's been accounting. All that's aside from my 40 hours of work and the house, too. Just, really, haven't had much time for exercise. :/
I expect to walk quite a bit over this upcoming weekend, though.
Hey, I take the activity where I can get it.

Hey, I take the activity where I can get it.Yup! It's pretty hard these days to wedge exercise into busy family schedules. Hats off to you folks!

This morning I ran outside for an hour. Felt great. Plan on hitting the gym for my lower body workout tommorow.

Five miles yesterday. Still god-awful hot. A high of 64F yesterday in Anchorage. I'm considering a relocation. :lowrazz: ;)

20 mile ride home again yesterday. Pushed hard and made it in 1h15m, making for a 16mph average. That's a bit skewed as a good part of it is downhill, but another part is flat with a headwind. Still, I'm pleased with that. On my training rides I've been happy if I average over 15mph.
I haven't been specifically doing training rides though, so I'm figgereing my speed increase is just due to more TITS*.

Oh, and I've actually started eating breakfast again, first times in months. And oatmeal too! Forgot how much I can like a bowl of oatmeal with raisins.

Oh, and I've actually started eating breakfast again, first times in months. And oatmeal too! Forgot how much I can like a bowl of oatmeal with raisins.Breakfast is a good idea. Keeps your body from flipping into "I'm starving! Time to hang on to everything I have!" mode. Plus you're more alert in the morning because you've got some fuel. I find there are very FEW cereals I can eat nearly every day... flavoured oatmeal or Raisin Bran are about the only two I've found (with 1% milk).
