We'd be willing to host one, but not this weekend or next weekend since the 23rd we have a 1 o'clock boy scout thing to go to (don't ask me).
Dan leaves the 30th and gets back August 6th.
So we could host it August 13th if people are interested in a game day then.

Next saturday we've got commitments from noon until probably 5 or so, so that's really out for us. The 6th of August I'm out, too, coming back from a conference. Other than that, AFAIK, my schedule's clear!

We'd also be able to host one soon.
I have a new game - 3-7 players - "Shadows Over Camelot" - interesting game. :)

Okay so I was wrong we can do it the 30th.
Either the 30th or the 13th works for us though, plus most time after that.

I'd definitely like to do this sometime. Most unfortunetly I cannot attend the upcoming game day as that is the day I leave on the dreaded family vacation :frown:
What sorts of games do you generally play? I recently picked up the game Carcassonne, which is somewhat similar to Settlers of Catan (I think, I've only played the later against the computer).
Also, does anyone play Axis & Allies? I have the original edition, but I can never find more than one friend to play it with (and that only rarely).

We play anything and everything mostly we play Carcassone, Settlers, Munchkin and anything else that someone brings.
Greebo

We play Settlers, Carcassonne, and similar games, and bunches of others.
Axis and Allies - some of us would surely try it. I've never played it.
You will have to come up sometime! :)

Normally we do game days around 2pm though. So my guess is around then again.

The menu plan is:
veggie mexican lasagna
nachos and cheese
pretzels
veggie tray with lemon/dill dip
olive/tuna macaroni salad (which is really pretty good)
homade bread and cinnamon rolls if I get around to making them (they are not top of my list at the moment)
We only have diet coke here at the house so bring other if you drink other.
And though the others may be quite scary, I will do my best to June Cleaver impersonation to help provide balance to the afternoon. ;)

No worries. Her name is June. You're safe for 10 months still ;)
I mean, if her name had been August Cleaver, you'd be so oh so dead :p

Carol is the only source of sanity and niceness among all those I call friends :) .
June Cleaver was pretty scary though :) , my family used to call her the poster for repressed homicidal maniacs.

We'll leave around noon, should be there at or a little bit before 2p. We are bringing watermelon and probably a few other snacky items.
