Gradually I'm going to be tweaking the new templates to match the old ones. For the short term, we're running on a clean install of vBulletin w/ CMPS. So a bunch of old hacks aren't here right now. Give me time and they will be again. :)

Oh yeah - you guys DEFINIATELY want to clear your browser caches after this update.

You will also find that the "New Posts" function is different now. Now, threads are marked read when you view them, or after 10 days. There is no longer any need for two different types of new posts searches, so the one from before is gone.
Pretty soon I'll add in a hack to let you mark individual forums as read from the new posts list.

Noticed something else different with the 'New Posts' page... the posts are ordered by last post date. Previously it was ordered primarily by forum, and then by post date. Kinda miss having the listing categorized by forums. <shrug> But then, I liked manually marking the forums read too. Yeah, I'm an oddball.

The sort by forums was a feature of the modification that we added to make sure threads you hadn't read didn't get marked as read after 15 minutes of idle time. You remember we used to have "New Posts" and "Recent Activity". Now we only have New Posts, and it's the default functionality of vBulletin.
Now, threads aren't marked read unless you either 1) read them, or 2) they've been idle for 10+ days.
But, we no longer have custom sorting.
You should, however, see a "mark this fourm read" link when you hit new posts, and that way you can quickly get rid of forums you don't care about when scanning the list.

Hmm. Yeah.
Was nice though to have the forums that I don't always read have their posts together. I liked to read up on the EQ2 forum every few days, and would just leave it unread and its posts would hang out together. O'ell...

I liked being able to group them too - but its something that needs working out to make work - no hacks for it yet. :(

I don't really mind it. It is still just as easy to mark a forum as read.

Gallery installed. Need some category suggestions though, and I still have to set up everyone to be able to upload to their own, personal category.
I've added some quick menus to the top of the pages too for faster navigation to home/forums/gallery w/o messing up the navbar too much.
