Ed called last evening sounding incredibly bored and missing us terribly. He was hoping to establish a game day THIS SATURDAY!
Are any of you tristate locals up to a few games THIS SATURDAY? We have a fistful of expansions and new games that we could dive into THIS SATURDAY.
Did I mention this is short notice as he is joining us THIS SATURDAY!
I was planning a mashed potato bar with slew of fixin's to serve THIS SATURDAY! Garlic butter, sourcream, bacon bits (vegetarian), carmelized onions, cheese, salsa, 'shrooms, lentils and onions, sausage, etc. All on a heap of homemade mashed potatoes and on your plate THIS SATURDAY!
If you can join us THIS SATURDAY!! please post an affirmative in this thread. Before THIS SATURDAY!! please.

If you guys are available THIS SATURDAY, I'd particularly like to try to get a 7 player game of "Shadows over Camelot" going - with the possibility of a traitor. However, if you folks aren't interested in playing that, I understand.
If you are, however, we should plan to start it at 4pm, so people arriving earlier can play other games and those who come and aren't interested in playing it can play something else at 4.

Well if someone could give me a ride up/back I'd be willing. Otherwise I *might* be able to get someone in my family to drive me... maybe.

From Fairfax? Larry & Rena (or just Larry) should be able to if one or both of them are coming.
And if Pats comes he might be an option too.

Yes the green one is quite holy which is why we are getting rid of it.
As atty said we have furniture coming but we should be able to make it up after it has arrived.
Any other food type stuff needed? I mean we'll bring something reguardless, but figured I'd check and see if there are any suggestions.

I work til 4 this saturday. If you can push back the Camelot game a bit, I'd definitely be interested in playing.

We can push camelot back to 5 or your arrival, sure, if we get enough interest for it at all. In any case, we'll be happy to keep gaming after you arrive. :)

Well, if I am doing potatoes, how about a non-potato soup? Your corn chowder or broccoli cheese always get eaten. Or let us be your guinnea pigs, we don't mind.

Maybe we'll try the pumpkin soup we found, it looks fairly interesting and I think we have all the ingredients here.

The other half is fine with us coming up there saturday, we have no real restrictions and can get there whenever (we are dropping off stuff at a shelter before hand and that's it).
On the good side Rena can stop asking me when the next "Game Day" is going to be :lowlol: :goodie!: :rotflmao:

Come up whenever then - so long as whenever is sometime after noon. Gives us all time to turn into human beings... (trust me, you don't want to see Ed before noon)

I would love to go to this game day, but this is going to be our big Harry Potter 4 in IMAX, dinner out, staying at the Hilton in Hershey, seeing Hershey Christmas Light Display weekend.
Plus a whole lot of other things going on like Girl Scouts horseback riding, horseback riding lessons, Breakfast with Saint Nick, and trying to get the young ones down for a nap so that they are not a PITA for the entire weekend.
So, our weekend is already PACKED! :(

This is weird. My weekend looks exactly ilke Lycos'.
Ok, it doesn't. But I can't come either. Since Joy let me out of the house the past two weekends I gotta stay in this one and do Xmas stuff.

We'll be there sometime between 2 and 5:30 most likely. The furniture is due to be delivered between 12:30 and 4:30 so we'll likely head out shortly after it arrives.
