Job Hunt!

If anyone knows of any full-time permenant positions for Sr QA Analyst/Lead QA/ Manager of QA (you get the idea), in the No VA (first prefrence) or anywhere in the Washington DC Metropoliton area send them my way. I don't have any desire to work for a contractor unless they can provide stable employment and benefits.

I'm finishing my Resume tommorrow and going on the hunt for a new job, this place has finally driven me nuts.

Actually - ... let me shoot an email to someone I know in Hyattsville. It so happens the IS Director there is trying to rebuild a new IS department with people who know something about actually, oh, running an enterprise level operation.

May I shoot her your qualifications? She may want someone with your mix of skills - especially if you're still up to speed on networking and aren't unwilling to do a little desktop support.

I've already shot her an email giving a brief personal description of you as being bright, quick thinking and energetic, (I lied my ass off) but not your actual resume, to see if she'd be interested in talking to you.

Bit more background: It's a medical research group, and the IS dept hasn't had any real organization until the IS director's arrival. They're in a lot of transition right now, and the skills used might be more desktop support, MS Access development, lotus notes, and such, but hey, right now I think she's partly looking for people to help determine the direction to take.

Not exactly your previous line of work, and she may not be looking for a QA manager type, but, any shot has a chance of hitting SOMETHING. :)
