Tomorrow night we will tackle Borliss Pass, hopefully bringing GS in line with both of us in terms of plot missions. It's a really long one (including bonus), so I'm going to assume it's all we will be doing for the evening.
If we have extra time we could help GS crank out a couple of optional quests if he's having trouble with any.
Are both of you good to go for tomorrow 9:00pm EST?

Looks good from my end so far.

Yep, I'm planning on it.
I think it'll go faster this time, since we won't waste time trying to figure out the bonus and (hopefully) won't fail the first time through...:|
We should have time to run some of the other quests with GravenStone, I would think, and/or walk him out to Ice Tooth Cave so he can mark that on his map.

Wow, we blitzed through that first mission last night. Not too shabby on the second, either, although missing the bonus means we'll have run at least part of it again (I'm not one to leave 1000xp unclaimed!). Once we've done that, we're done in Shiverpeaks and on to Kryta!
Decent loot last night - two major runes (although neither useful to me), a pretty nice hammer (also not useful to me) and a Minor Rune of Vigor (yay +30 hp). Also, last night is the first time I noticed that all three of us could use keys on the same chest to obtain loot. Wierd that I missed that previously.

Um, oops. :* I completely missed out on that. I just assumed first come, first served and then trade where it does the most good. Ah well, live and learn. Not sure if you hit the merchant in the new spot, but the next tier of keys (Ascalon, I think) are going for 800 gold :eek!: . Best be leading to some Gold items for that price.

I totally had no clue we could EACH open every chest to obtain personal loot, I thought it was "first come first loot" as well. Man, to think of all the loot we've missed out on...
GS - I think that 800gp key is for something else. The iron keys (80gp) still work on all the chests in the next areas, and in Kryta there are different keys for those chests. There is a high level area in Shiverpeaks called "Sorrow's Furnace" that has lots of unique and set drops for the ascended folks, I believe that may be what the 800gp keys are for.
We rocked in combat last night! The only time we even came close to losing anyone was when we'd get separated. We seem to have hit on a very workable mix of our skills augmented by the henchmen that lets us mow through stuff. Even on the second mission where most things were levels 12-15 we were handling it well.
I agree that we should go back for the bonus. We could do that next Thursday, or if all three of us are on for 30+ minutes some point over the weekend we could meet up and do it then. Now that we know where it is, and that we should be scouring the catapults, it shouldn't take long.
Loot for me last night was minimal. Couple of minor Mesmer runes my alt will enjoy, and a couple of high value weapons with medicore stats. Made good cash though, I'm closing in on 10pp banked.

I don't think I would have, either, except I opened the steel chest on the seige engine before the cut scene, and then I gave you a key to open it after the cut scene. I suppose the cut scene could have reset it, but that seems unlikely.

We will have to experiment on this next time.

A shame you don't use Hammer, Raveneye. I just picked up a purple Sundering Break Hammer of Deathbane  this morning. 13-20 damage, 7% chance of triggering 10% Armor penetration, and +12% damage vs. undead.
Might twink it down to my warrior/elementalist alt, or may just salvage it for the magickal haft
Ground out about halfway through the last 1k I needed to hit 15. Also back tracked from Anvil Rock to Iron Horse Mines. Had the same bit happen with me, zoned into the Mines and had a mino cross over from AR. Must be scripted, because I had no aggro on the far side of the zone. **shrug**

Ice Tooth Cave is in the northwest corner of Anvil Rock, if you haven't found it yet. No real reason to do so, other than to mark it on your map.
Do all the quests in Beacon's Perch. You'll need to get to Gates of Kryta for the next plot mission. From BP, it's Deldrimor's Bowl -> Griffon's Mouth -> Scoundrel's Rise -> Gates of Kryta. You'll pick up quests along the way, in Griffon's Mouth and Scoundrel's Rise, that'll keep you moving in the right direction.

Yeah, found Icetooth Cave. The skills merchant inside actually had a potentially useful ability for me, so it wasn't a totally wasted trip.
I only found two BP quests to start, suppose I'll find out if more open as they are finished.

Guildwiki says...
The landscape of Tyria (http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Tyria) is dotted with randomly positioned locked chests, which are guaranteed to contain uncommon (http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Uncommon_item) or better items. Whenever your party finds a new, locked chest, multiple party members can each use their own keys (http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Key) to unlock the chest and get their own loot (http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Loot). Monsters randomly drop chest keys, and you can also buy chest keys from Merchants (http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Merchant). Chests differ in regions and can only be unlocked with the appropriate key.
A player can open a chest with the corresponding key (i.e. a Krytan Key will open a Krytan Chest). Whoever opens the chest is granted a piece of loot (http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Loot). Therefore, if you open a chest it is not possible for the loot to be assigned to anyone else in your party. Usually, the farther through the game you are the better the loot becomes. The best being a rare (gold)item.
I guess we've been missing out on some stuff. :*
Edit - I found this at Guildwiki, too, regarding runes and armor.
You can use an Expert Salvage Kit on armor that you have attached a rune to in order to attempt to recover the rune. This will destroy the armor and either recover the rune or salvage materials.
